Scott grew more and more discouraged as they looked for Phil. After looking almost everywhere for the boy, he eventually told Leila to keep an eye on Mitch and Dan. Running out of places to look, he thought of one place Leila couldn't go with him. He went to Phil's beach room, stripping completely and jumping into the water. He swam deep, weaving through rocks and plants, eventually finding his way to the surface, where Phil's training was normally done. Immediately, he heard Phil crying in the other room. Scott put on his training clothes and going to the lounge, seeing the black haired boy crying on the bed.
"I thought you were dead," Scott sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Why didn't you tell me, Scott?" Phil sniffled.
"First," Scott answered, "you wouldn't have believed me, and Dan would've denied it. And before you asked me how I know, you'll have to remember that my dad is the god of prophesy. I can actually see a lot of things happening before they actually happen. Second, it's not my place to tell you. He shouldn't have kept it a secret."
"Why aren't you pissed at Mitch about this?" Phil continued the question.
"It comes with dating an Aphrodite kid," Scott shrugged honestly. "Plus, it was all training. There will be bad guys using the power of seduction to make you do what they want. I was going to teach you all of this when we got to Aphrodite training. That's all it really was."
"I would've believed him if he would've just told me," Phil growled, the sadness turning to pure anger. "He lied to me. He made me think that I did something wrong. He made me scared all for something he could've just explained to me. I seriously want to kill that fucking asshole."
"If I killed everyone that has hurt me," Scott shook his head with a sigh, "then Mitch would've been dead years ago honestly. I know it'll take you a while to bounce back, with Dan anyways, but I don't want you giving up on him. As much as I hate that he's a Hades kid, he really does love you and I want you both to keep that real love you have."
"What made you dislike Hades kids?" Phil asked, Scott tensing up.
"It's a very long story," Scott shrugged it off.
"I have plenty of time," Phil smiled, moving to sit next to the blond haired trainer.
"The story starts with my mom, Connie," Scott explained, starting the story. "She had recently divorced, and she met a gorgeous man, with golden blond hair and baby blue eyes. The hooked up and I came along. Apollo couldn't be in my life, due to the rules, but he helped the best he could. Then three years after I was born, she met another man, this one with almost black hair and eyes the perfect blend of blue green and yellow, which you would find in the waves of the ocean. Nine months later, my black haired brother, Jack, came along."
"Your brother's dad was my dad, right?" Phil asked, Scott nodding.
"I didn't know anything at the age of three," Scott continued his story, "but at about five, I started seeing things in not only me, but him too. I noticed my advanced ability in music and medicine, along with seeing things happening before they did. I'd noticed that when me and Jack would take baths, he could control the water, and when he'd fall and get sores and bruises, once he got in water, they'd be gone."
"When did you get here?" Phil asked.
"I was fifteen and Jack was eleven," Scott answered. "He was so passive and sweet like you are. He needed someone he trusted to train him, so the Olympians agreed to make me have all known abilities of gods and goddesses; only if I agreed to train others. Then about three years later, I met Mitch, who was actually born in Olympus, and was blessed with the abilities like I was. He was the other demigod chosen to be a trainer. He was definitely intriguing, but it took a year, of Mitch trying to get in my pants, before I agreed to a date."
"Now that sounds like a cliche romance novel," Phil teased.
"It's not a cliche romance, trust me," Scott sighed.
"Continue," Phil laughed, really wanting to hear more.
"Mitch soon learned that I wasn't falling for the Aphrodite antics," Scott smiled a bit, his smiling fading as he got further into the story. "He started actually enjoying the dates. I was the first one to fall in love, and Mitch being a child of Aphrodite, I knew I had to love him through his spells of infidelity. Then Dallas came along. He was far from the stereotypical Hades kid. Hell, he looked like he could be my brother."
"He came after Mitch, didn't he?" Phil continue to be pulled further and further into the story.
"Yes," Scott growled, his fists clenching, "but only to get to me. Someone told Dallas that Jack could possibly be one of the children of prophesy. He used my love for Mitch as a way to break down my defenses, then the attack on Jack happened. He was only seventeen when he died, and needless to say, Dallas got sent straight to Tartarus. Then, about two weeks ago, you and Dan came walking in, half of me being mean to Dan was A.) The thing with Dallas and B.) I wanted to be the one to train you. Now I have a question to ask you. How were you able to cut ties from me like that? I haven't taught it yet."
"It's one of the things I've taught myself when I've been alone," Phil shrugged before Scott's phone started ringing.
"Hello?"
"Hey..."
"She told you."
"Technically Marcus told me. Where are you?"
"That's not important right now."
"It is. Dan's worried sick."
"That's not my problem."
"You know what? Fuck you for thinking that. I'm not in love with him. He reminds me of who Jack could've been, and I wanted to protect Phil like he was Jack. I'm not going to let some fucking Hades kid take another brother from me. Especially one one that has to do with you. Jack and Dallas isn't happening, Mitch."
"You're still mad at me for that?"
"No I'm not. I'm just not going to sit back and watch it again."
"I can make this better. Just tell me where you are. We'll help you find him."
"You two stay back."
"I'm not letting you do this alone."
"It's best you do. Goodbye."
"Scott I..." he heard Mitch say, but he was already hanging up the phone.
"Thanks for not telling him you're with me," Phil sighed, being pulled into a hug by the older man.
"I think it's best that neither of us see them right now," Scott shrugged. "Now I have to go to Olympus to give some reports. You can come along and have dinner with my friends if you like. I'll join you guys after my reports to the Olympians."
"I would like that," Phil smiled, them swimming back to the other side. They snuck down to the first floor, going down the dark corridor Phil had been down before, and through the portal to Olympus.
