The Dark Dragon Paladin: Mirajane Strauss x Male Reader x Erza Scarlet

(F/n) was asked to lead Fairy Tail Team B in the X791 Grand Magic Games, along with Mirajane, Juvia, Gajeel, and recently reinstated Laxus.

The news of Team B's participation in the Games came as a surprise, of course, to the members of Team A. 

After the events of Day 1, Erza found (F/n) in the lobby of the hotel. 

"Explain yourself, (F/n) Dreyar!" she demanded. "Why didn't you tell me you were competing in the Games?!"

(F/n) tried desperately to calm his fiance. "Erza, please!" he begged quietly. "You're making a scene!"

People were staring, but Titania didn't care. "Don't avoid the question!" she shouted.

(F/n)'s patience ran out, and his anger got the better of him. "Damn it, Erza!" he snapped. "That's enough!"

Erza instantly fell quiet and stared at (F/n) in shock. She'd certainly heard him raise his voice on occasion, but (F/n) had never shown such anger with her personally before. It honestly hurt. She had no idea how to react except to turn and run away in tears.

Her feet carried her straight to the room she and her teammates were sharing. Lucy jumped in surprise as the redhead burst into the room, slamming the door shut and throwing herself onto her bed.

"Erza!" Lucy exclaimed in concern. "What's wrong?!"

Erza had buried her face in her pillows and was sobbing heavily. Lucy rushed to her friend's side and placed a hand on her shoulder. 

"Erza, what happened?!" she fretted.

"ERZA!!" A desperate call came at the door, accompanied by a series of loud knocks. "Erza! Open the door!" the voice pleaded.

Lucy jumped again when Erza suddenly sat up and shouted through her tears. "Go away, (F/n)!"

"Erza, I'm sorry!" (F/n) called through the door. "I shouldn't have lost my temper! Please, don't shut me out because of a stupid mistake!"

Lucy looked back and forth between Erza and the door, scrambling to know what to do. She soon decided and made her way to the door.

"No!" Erza shouted from her bed. "Lucy, don't let him in!"

Lucy turned to her friend with a smile. "Relax! I'm just gonna talk to him for minute!"

Lucy opened the door and stepped into the hallway, pushing (F/n) back from the door.

(F/n) stared at her, silently pleading for help. 

Lucy responded by giving the Paladin a warm hug. "Just give her a few minutes. Let her cry it out, then you can talk to her when you're both calmed down." (F/n) accepted her advice and hugged her back.
