"When I say I love you more, I don't mean I love you more than you love me. I mean I love you more than the bad days ahead of us, I love you more than any fight we will ever have. I love you more than the distance between us, I love you more than any obstacle that could try to come between us. I love you the most"

Showing Derek around Boston was amazing, something I wish I had done sooner...maybe when we were in college, regretfully. I showed him all of Harvard, the restaurants and bars, TD garden(where the Boston Celtics and Bruins) play, Fenway Park, and a tour of everything else. To say he loved it would be an understatement.
"I get it. I get why you love it so much" Derek said, as he held my hand at dinner. I kissed his cheek, and all I could do was smile. I felt like a kid again, with their first crush. Except I was definitely no longer a kid, but still with my first crush.
We were at this relatively fancy dinner place, waiting for my parents to arrive. They wanted to have dinner before I left with Derek to Seattle.
Tomorrow morning, we were going to head out on a drive cross country together with all my stuff in the UHaul. Besides my Harley, I did have a truck, which the uhaul would be attached to. We had another week before Derek and I had to start work again,so we planned on visiting a lot of places.

"I can't wait to see what Seattle is all about" I replied, taking a sip from my glass of wine.
"I cannot wait to show you around. There's still a lot I haven't seen, so I'm also excited to have little adventures with you" Derek said, and he kissed my lips lightly.

"Child! Derek! It's so good to see you!" My mother said excitedly as she rushed over with Dad and hugged both of us tightly.
"Hello sweetheart. Derek" my dad greeted, hugging me, and Derek as well.
"Oh Sapphire you are so tiny. Derek, make sure she eats more when you're around. How are you two doing? Everything with the job is cleared up?" Mom asked, as we all sat at the table.
"Of course, and everything's great. I'm happy to be a part of her life again. I took off 2 weeks to help her get moved and everything" Derek said, looking at me lovingly. I could see my moms enthusiastic reaction.
"That's wonderful. Now I hear your head of neuro at Seattle Grace?" Dad asked.
"Yes, it's an amazing job and there's wonderful opportunities there. We have patients coming in internationally for treatment. The hospital is also a teaching hospital, which is of great experience for those starting out in their field." Derek said.
"It's a wonderful hospital, and I'm excited to work there" I added. Dad smiled at me.
"That's great sweetheart" he replied.

Mark's POV

Meredith was fun. I get why Derek kept her around for so long. She was fun, sarcastic, and definitely good in bed.
...but that didn't mean I had forgotten about Sapphire. The girl that lit up every room she entered. The one who cared so much, sometimes too much, for those around her. The most beautiful and smartest woman Id ever know.
But for now, there was Meredith.

"Can I have a consult?" Callie asked, as I was led into a patient's room.
It was a victim who had broken a couple legs and he wanted the scars to disappear. I understood, those scars were gruesome.
"Hello, yes these scars should be easily covered. After dr. Torres here fixes your leg, then we can get to the scars." I said, as I left the room soon after examination.

"Finally I found you! You knew Dr. Beauregard? What does she like? I'm planning on getting her a gift basket for her first day" dr. Webber said, excited and stressed.
"Um...chocolate, tea, and peonies" I said, remembering what Derek used to get her. I hoped it was still the same.
" thank you!" Dr. Webber said, as he wrote that down then hurried off somewhere.

Everyone was buzzing about Sapphire coming next week. Even the patients were excited to meet her. She was like some god, rather than my first love or my best friends high school sweetheart and current girlfriend.
