When the guard at the city's entrance saw the group of dragons, he rang the alarm. Immediately, four dragons in black body suits stealthily dropped from the top of the vast steel wall, surrounding Silverfang and her friends. Icetail narrowed her eyes and growled, "We're not here to fight. We have an important message to convey to the Great One. Let us in." The first masked dragon hissed. "Why should we trust you? We've heard that one a million times before." Icetail moved so fast that her silhouette was a blur. In a flash, she had a tail's point against the dragon's throat. "I said, let us in. I'm not in the mood to get into a huge battle. Let me speak to the Great One. I'm leaving my team out here." Suddenly, an aged dragon walked through the gates. "It's alright. Call off the black ops. I know Icetail pretty well. After all, this is the Chosen One travel group." The third masked dragon was shocked. "This is the travel group? Then where's the Chosen One? None of these dragons look fit to wield that power, except for Icetail, who's obviously not it." Annoyed, Silverfang clenched her claw, causing the ground to crack beneath the dragon. "Who are you calling 'unfit to wield the power'?" she hissed. "Everyone, calm down. We can work this out." the Great One said. Icetail spoke with the Great One for a few minutes, before he let them all into the city. "Welcome to the Kingdom of Elementals."
Silverfang was tired, hungry, and not in the mood to be taking a tour of the Kingdom of Elementals. She wanted to eat, take a good bath, and crash into a comfy bed. As soon as the Great One was done giving his tour, Silverfang bolted for the nearest store and ordered almost everything she could. After stuffing her face with food, Silverfang rented a room at a nearby hotel and took a bath. As soon as she finished, Silverfang rolled into the soft bed and fell asleep.
According to Steamblade, who checked up on her every once in a while, Silverfang slept for three days straight. She awoke early in the morning of the third day, feeling fully refreshed and ready to tackle whatever buisness they needed to accomplish in the city. After taking a quick shower and throwing Drakion into the bath, Silverfang put on a simple hoodie, slung her dirt-covered backpack over her shoulder, and headed downstairs. She thanked the dragon in the hotel's lobby for letting her stay. Somehow, the Great One had gotten to everyone in the Kingdom that Silverfang was the Chosen One. The dragon seemed a bit shocked to see her but nodded politely and continued his buisness.
Outside, Silverfang stopped at a nearby store and bought a hoverboard. She had been given money by the Great One on the day they went on the "brief" tour around the Kingdom. Still not used to the mechanics of the board, Silverfang steadied herself with one arm and held on to the board with another. In a few minutes, she had mastered flying on the board and strapped her claws onto it. Crouching down, Silverfang decided to fly to Dragon Square. She did learn something out of taking the tour, and the location of Dragon Square was one of them. Silverfang also had the street's holographic signs to help her, as well as the rest of the dragon population. She turned up the speed on the hoverboard, cruising through the short alleyways and darting around above dragons' heads. She finally arrived there and looked around for a sign of her friends or the Great One himself.
Soon, Silverfang spotted Steamblade and flew down next to him.
"Hey, have you seen the Great One around here? I think he asked me to talk to him three days ago." Silverfang said, looking around.
"Nope, I haven't seen him since the first day. I think he's been busy getting up to date with Icetail. Apparently he was her mentor back when she was our age."
"Really? That's pretty cool."
"Yeah, they say he was the last millenium's Chosen One."
Silverfang was taken aback. "The last millenium's Chosen One? Does that mean that there have been Chosen Ones before me?" she thought.
"Well, I guess I'll check out his house in Central City. Is that the one by Clawpoint or Saffang?"
