Silverfang darted through the air, using a beam of solar energy on a water/steel-element hybrid dragon that was targeting her. She spun around, slipping in between battling dragons and used an aura beam on an enemy dragon that was pummeling one of her teammates.
"Thanks!" the dragon said before flying off.
The air battles were a lot harder than she thought. She dived to the ground, zeroing in on the enemy flag that she saw. The objective was the capture the enemy's flag and that would end the air battle. A group of seven armored dragons from the Skywalkers were guarding the flag, weapons in their claws. Silverfang boosted her speed, flying toward one of the dragons. He alerted his group before chasing after her. She ascended, watching closely to see if the dragon was following her. The dragon built up a ring of fire that surrounded him. Silverfang reached the apex of her flight, curled into a ball, and dived toward the ground. The dragon chased after her. At the last minute, she changed direction, flying parallel to the ground. Shocked, the dragon tried to change direction, but crashed into the ground. One of the referee dragons dragged him out of the ground and passed him over to a bird. Grinning, Silverfang located the enemy's weapon: a long sword with a golden grip. She flew into the sky and passed the weapon to one of her teammates, who nodded gratefully and grasped the sword tightly. Flashscar noticed what Silverfang was doing and joined her.
"I have a few friends that are flying around and helping others," Flashscar commented. "I can tell them to meet here. We have a special call."
Flashscar breathed deeply and let out an earsplitting roar that echoed across the entire arena. A few dragons stopped fighting in shock, but Flashscar's friends flew to her side.
"Hi!" An ice dragon grinned and dipped her head. "I'm Frozenclaw."
Two more dragons did the same, a grass/poison type named Venomwing and a water/fire type named Steamblade.
"Guys, this is Silverfang. Silverfang, meet Venomwing, Frozenclaw, and Steamblade. Silverfang, welcome to the Aurae team!"
Flashscar then quickly explained the situation to Venomwing, Frozenclaw, and Steamblade, who all agreed to help. The dragons discussed a plan and then flew away. Six dragons were standing at the post. Silverfang targeted a flying/dark-element hybrid, using an electrical pulse on her. She roared and chased after Silverfang, who grinned and collected energy for a beam of energy. Unfortunately, the dragon was fast and increased her speed, diving and delivering a devastating blow to Silverfang's head.
Silverfang saw blackness eating at the edge of her vision, trying to pull her into the oblivion. She struggled against it and immediately felt a throbing headache. She groaned, flapping her wings feebly in an attempt to regain her balance and get back at the flying/dark elemental. The dragon grinned, a smug look crossing her face. Silverfang was about to give up when she realized: Her friends were depending on her. She couldn't go down, not without putting up a fight. This gave her the strength to flap her wings, folding them as she gained the speed to cut through the air. She roared, absorbing the sun's energy to regain some health. Then, Silverfang narrowed her eyes, collecting enough energy for a beam of concentrated light. The smug flying/dark elemental only had enough time to whirl around and gasp before the beam of energy sent her crashing into the ground. Flashscar grinned, flashing Silverfang a claws-up before continuing to fight her opponent.
Silverfang eyed the last dragon, a buffed up fighting/poison-type that had five horns jutting out of his head, a pair of four inch claws, and spikes that went from his neck to the tip of his tail, which split into three scythe-shaped tails. The dragon was a fighting type, so he would probably go straight for claw-to-claw combat. He was fast enough to attack first and prevent her from building up enough power for a magical attack. Plus the fact that Silverfang was running low on mana and would need to get a fourteen-hour sleep or risk using a recovery move during the battle because she didn't reach the damage requirements to use it now. If she tried to fight him claw-to-claw, his ability would likely get her poisoned. The only way to end this was if she could one-hit KO him from afar, but he would probably notice and stop her with an equally powerful move. Silverfang needed to think this out before she charged straight into battle.
