Toffee has returned

I stared in disbelief. She had left. She was not coming back. We were not fighting monsters anymore. She had left. 

My friends came rushing up the stairs. 

"Oh, my gosh, Marco are you okay??" Jackie asked and hugged me. 

I didn't answer because words weren't enough to describe what the heck I was feeling. 
Star was my best friend. I need to be with her in difficult times. I need to be with her. She needs me. And apparently, I need her too. In whatever way, I don't care. I just need to see her. 



Without saying a word, I got my dimensional scissors and opened up a portal. 

"Marco, what are you doing?" 

"I need to see her."

"Great thinking, Earth turd."

"ME FIRST!! FOR STAAAAR!" Starfan13 screamed and jumped through the portal.

"Are you sure about this, Marco?" Jackie asked. 

"I need to do this."

"Then I'm coming with you. We all are, right guys?"

Pony Head, Janna, Alfonzo, Ferguson, and Kelly nodded. 

All of a sudden another portal appeared and demon ex-boyfriend Tom came out of it.

"TOM?!!" I yelled. "Were you spying??"

"Yes. Sorry, not sorry. I need to go with you guys. Star can use all the help she can get."

"Why? Do you know what's going on?"

"Toffee's back."

"No. No, no, no, no, this is bad. This is really bad."

"Um, sorry to interrupt, but who's Toffee?" Ferguson asked. 

"The bad guy. I've got no more time to explain. Guys, we need to go."

We went through the portal and got to Mewni. But everything was so quiet. So calm. Like the calm before a storm kind of calm. The castle looked grim, and the food that had been thrown on Song Day was still partly there. All of the entrances to the palace were heavily guarded just like I imagined. 

"Great, now how do we get innnn?" Pony Head nagged. 

"The secret back passage," Tom said.

"You sure know how to stalk for a demon, don't ya?" Janna commented. 

"Where is that back door, Tom?" I asked.

"If I remember correctly it was behind Glitter Cascade. So right about..." He pulled apart some bushes and lasered some trees in half with his third eye. "...here."

"Wow," the group said. 

"I dreamed of taking Star here. But I guess that's not gonna happen."

"Aww, don't talk yourself down. I ship you and Star!" Starfan13 said to comfort him.

"Really?"

"No, Star is all mine!" She laughed maniacally. 

"Okay, whatever, Demon Turd Boy the First, show us the entraaance!" 

Tom created a door in the waterfall. "After you, princess Marco."

"A guy dresses up as a princess one time and he never hears the end of it!" I say. 

"Tsk. Ungrateful. I wish Star would dress me up."

"Keep your love affairs out of this, Tom, we don't have the time!"
