I glared at everyone who looked my way, making them look away quickly. Stupid people with no lives. Gossiping about the tiniest things ever and making it seem so big.

For the whole day everyone's been talking about me and Alex. Like there was anything there to talk about really. The fact that I changed all my lessons to AP classes, Alex's classes, didn't help at all. In fact, it made it worse. Stupid Alex and his stupid ride.

"Ms Moore answer the question," the old hag raised her voice at me. I raised an eyebrow. Ever since the period started she's been picking on me. Stupid teacher. I looked at the stupid sum.

"x equals to 6," I drawled lazily, looking at my nails just to piss her off. She muttered something that sounded like a curse and continued on with the lesson. I internally scoffed. This bitch thinks she can own me? No freakin way. Apparently this particular teacher wasn't really scared of me.

"Ms Moore, how many times must I tell you not to put your feet on the table," I rolled my eyes again.

"Oh what was that I couldn't hear you?" I said lightly, fake smiling. She glared at me again.

"I said-"

"Whoops, lookie here gotta roll now bye Mrs Bitch," I smiled as I took my phone and walked out. Tyler was calling.

"IT'S MS FITCH AND COME BACK HERE CLASS IS NOT DISMISSED YET!!" She screamed as I walked out of school.

"What's the sitch?" I asked coolly, then chuckled slightly at my pun. hahah. I'm so funny. Oops I meant 'punny'.

"Don't you imitate Kim Possible on me," Tyler said. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever. What's up?"

"Where are you now? I need to meet you,"

"I just bailed out on class, where to meet?" I asked smirking. I could see him rolling his eyes at me.

"Starbucks across the road, I'm there already," He hung up before I could say anything else.

"So.. Why Starbucks across the road? Why across the road? This reminds me of school way too much. You can even see into my class!" I said to Tyler as I sat in front of him with my vanilla bean frappe with 1 pump of raspberry and extra whip cream.

Surprisingly, it was my favourite drink there. I loved coffee, and this drink really didn't taste like coffee, but it was my favourite, however girly and out of character it may be.

"That's kind of the point. You still need to look out for the guy. Which reminds me to tell you, from here onwards, you're not allowed to skip," Tyler finished smirking at me.

"Unless I skip with him," I stated with a smirk. He rolled his eyes at me again. I looked out and into my class and saw my teacher staring at me, followed by the whole class. I waved and pointed to my drink, still smirking. I saw Alex and some of his friends burst out laughing and the other nerds just ignored me. Oh well, they didn't know how to have fun.

"Moving on to why I called you here. I found out a few things interesting. You know the blood sample you got yesterday? It got some results. Apparently, it belongs to an ex-convict, Ben Hades. We've got some leads for him and where he lives. Also where he always goes to," Tyler said.

"But I'm not going to be with you when you go there. I have to look after the boy remember?" I asked confused. Why was he telling me this?

"Yeah.. I just- I just thought you might want to know.." He said awkwardly, fidgeting about. I reached over and pinched his cheek.

"Awww, my dear cousin, can't live without me?" I teased and he blushed a little, pulling my hand away.

"It's not that, alright!" He said, "Plus, I have a few suggestions on how you might want to protect pretty boy even further," He added.

"What's up?" I asked as he began rummaging through his bag.

"I have a few gadgets your dearest father gave to me," He said as he put some small metal balls on the table, followed by a pair of binoculars.

"These, have a microchip in each of them and when you put it on some thing, this happens," Tyler explained, holding one of the metal balls. He put it on the edge of the table and part of it latched itself onto the table. It was so small you almost couldn't see it.

"Now take your phone out," I took my phone out, confused.

"I've installed an app for you and with that, you can check out the cameras there," I went into the new app and it showed a 'camera 1' with all the different angles I could see it.

"This is great it's like 360 degrees!" I exclaimed."Wait a minute, you hacked into my phone again!?"

Tyler used to hack into my phone all the time and it was extremely annoying.

"It's actually about 275 degrees around there. You see, because it can't turn to face the table," Tyler corrected me, ignoring my accusation.

"Whatever math genius," I rolled my eyes as I grabbed the pair of binoculars.

"These microchips have also been added into your laptop and you can even increase or decrease the volume but everything is recorded so you don't have to check on it 24/7," Tyler added, taking the binoculars out of my hands and placing a box into it. It was small metal box that had the EDM crest on it. My eyes widened as i opened it. Inside it, were millions of the small metal balls.

"Okay, so what are these for? I have my own you know," I told him, looking at the pair of binoculars.

"Oh, you'd want these," He said, smirking. He held it in his hands and slowly handed it to me.

"What does it do?" I asked, he just gestured for me to look into it. It was zoomed out until I could see Tyler as he was and not his zoomed in version. I could twist the knob to zoom in to the person at the other end of the cafe and further. And the best part about these were that, they took photos.

"Woah," I snapped another picture of Tyler. He snatched it away from me.

"Where do the photos go though?" I asked. He explained that the same app I had was also linked to that.

"There is also a x-ray scanner, a heat scanner and a full scan to check for the person's data, history and others," Tyler said and I gaped at him.

"What is this high tech?!" I exclaimed. He taught me how to switch between modes and true enough, it worked.

"Ian Gemete, age 21, no jail record-woah this scanner detects drugs too?!" I exclaimed, looking into the binoculars intently. It was super cool. The data was right before my eyes!

"This is what I have been working on with EDM. Gadgets. And these are just a few of what I invented, with the help of others of course. No one else has these except you. No one else know of it except for the people involved. So, do not lose it. I repeat, Do. Not. Lose. It. Or tell anyone about it," Tyler warned me. I gaped at him even more and gave him the biggest hug I had ever given before.

"I'm so proud of you!" I said as I pulled away. He was always going to work for extra time during Sundays and I was wondering what he was doing.

"Anyway, I have a mission for you," He continued, smiling slightly. I nodded and waited for him to continue. "You have to put these in the house, as well as his car. So that you can see what really happens inside."

"You're kidding," I said flatly. He shook his head and pushed the things to me.

"Oh look! School's over. You should start now," He said and made his way out of the cafe. I glared at him. Just because he was my team leader doesn't mean he had to be such a dick.
