Chapter Five

What the hell?
I looked around the room, everything was still the same. I guess I just woke up. I yawned blinking the tiredness from my eyes. But I couldn't get up.
Come on body you aren't that tired. I yawned again and tried to move but I was glued to the bed. (Figuratively not literally).

"Nathaniel. How you've grown." A man's voice echoed through the room and I looked up to see a man in a faux army jacket and a white t-shirt. He looked about thirty. But why the hell was he in my room.

"Uh, kind of creepy just sneaking in here when I'm sleeping. It's not fun to wake up to a weird man standing over you. "

"Nathaniel, you aren't awake. You're dreaming. So have no fear. You are still safely asleep in your bedroom." the man stepped closer his hands raised in defense. "I know you're wondering why I'm here. And who I am."

Who the hell is this clown? Creepy as hell.

I am sorry you see me that way Nathaniel.

My eyes widened as his voice echoed through my head. "Okay, how'd you do that? Are you a psychic or something?"

"Of sorts. You may become familiar with it yourself, in time. Now, on to business. I have come with a warning."

"A warning? What warning."

"Be careful of the girl. She may not be who she pretends to be."

Emily? What other girl is there?

"Yes son. Emilia." he said responding to my thoughts again.

"What about her? She's just a girl who helped me with a few bullies." I brushed my bangs from my eyes tucking my hair behind my ears.

"That is what you think. Although, there is more to her. Now, my time is almost out. Just be careful. I will see you soon my son."

"Wait a second, what do you mean son?" but the man was gone. The shadows were advancing on the bed. Before I knew it, I sat in my bedroom, sun pouring through the window, the alarm clock ringing.

That was a weird ass dream. I thought as I swing my legs over the bedside and stood up to get ready for the day.
