She watched from her bedroom window, as he pulled out of the driveway, and left. So many times in a month. Nate's right, this is fishy. Emily thought to herself before climbing down from her windowseat and sitting on her bed.

"Lady Emilia, pardon my intrusion, dinner is done, and your father requests your presence." One of the Butlers, Alphonse leaned into the room.

"One minute Alphonse." She said, pulling out her phone and shooting nate a text Hey, I've been thinking about the whole Cameron thing, maybe we can tail him sometime and find out exactly what he's up to. She hit send, and dropped her phone on her bed, taking the elevator down to the foyer and joining her father in the dining room.

"Good evening Emilia, so what did you and the Kazuma boy do today? Do tell". Her father said, cutting off a piece of steak and taking a bite.

"Not much, we hung out with his uh.. Cousin, and got pizza" She said, trying to sound convincing.

"Ah! Delectable. I never did quite grasp the concept of pizza."

"Yeah cool I guess." She said, staring blankly down at her dinner.

"Not hungry?" He asked, taking another bite.

"Not really. So, how's the studies coming along?"

"Oh excellently! I've discovered a sort of essence found in this strange stone my researchers found in Angola! It resonates with some sort of strange energy. It could be some kind of power source! It'll revolutionize energy use!" He prattled on happily. "With continued study we will know the full extent of its power very soon. I have my best scientists on it, and it's quite exciting. Also, we discovered a new species of forest lizard! It can harden its skin as-" He continued, his voice fading in the background.

Finally, Emily got up from her seat abruptly. "I need some air." She quickly left the room and walked out into the warm night air, looking up at the stars.

Neo clashes blades with me, getting in my face. "For a rookie you're pretty decent." He said, shoving me back and lowering his sword. "Actually try this time, it's not like it'll hurt." Neo smirked smartly.

He wants a fight? Fine. I thought, pulling my sword back. "Block this!" I channeled my spirit into this, the blade glowing faintly blue, and swung it full force upon Neo's sword, blasting him back easily twenty feet, into a tree, downing it.

"Shit Neo, you okay?" I ran over to him where he lay in a steaming wreck of wood laughing so hard his eyes were watering.

I began to laugh too and he rolled over standing up and clapping me on the shoulder. "Dude that was dope!" He grinned widely. "I'm thoroughly impressed dude. Well it's getting late, we should head back." He tucked his sword away in his coat.

"Yeah, true. Let's get going." I banished my sword and stuffed my hands in my hoodie pockets walking off.
