"You may come in now," the man in the white coat told Yoongi who was pacing back and forth outside of the ICU room.

When he walked in, his mom was laying on the hospital bed with her arms crossed on top of her chest.

She looked like she was sleeping.

She looked so peaceful.

Yoongi's eyes welled up with hot tears, his throat seemed to close every time he tried to speak, his hands trembled as he reached over to hold her cold hands in his.

"W-what happened mom? Why did you act like you were okay?" He asked the lifeless body, hoping that a miracle would happen and she'd answer him back.

"What am I gonna do now? I- I need you here mom, you can't leave me."

Silence.

That's all he heard.

Not even the beeping sound of the heart monitor made a sound, but it's common sense. What sound would he expect it to make if the person is not even hooked up any more and is laying cold on the bed instead?

The doctor cleared his throat, and explained to Yoongi everything that was bound to happen now that she was no longer alive.

Everything sounded gibberish to him.

The only thing he heard was that she had yet another stroke and her weak body couldn't take it this time.

He felt helpless, why was everything going wrong? Why did he have to lose the most important person in his life now?

Yoongi heard the door close, and he let more warm tears come down his pale cheeks.

His phone started ringing, but he didn't have the energy to talk to anyone. He just wanted to be alone and mourn peacefully.

His phone kept ringing, and ringing until he finally gave up and answered, making sure to stop himself from hiccuping as he talked.

"Hyung!" Jungkook and Namjoon could be heard on the phone yelling and fighting over who should talk on the phone.

"Where are you? How's eomma?" Jungkook asked, worry evident in his voice. Namjoon snatched the phone from him, "Hyung, where are you?" he asked.

"I'll send you the directions, but please, don't bring Jungkookie here," he pleaded, and hung up after Namjoon promised he wouldn't.

He typed up the text and sent it quickly to Namjoon, then disposed of the cell phone in the nearby table and shut it off.

A million questions, memories and regrets kept flooding through his head. If only he would have taken care of her better back then, she would still be there with him. If only he would have been a better son, this wouldn't be happening now.

If only, if only.

But he couldn't change the past, this is the present and he'd come to the conclusion that he'd have to live with the consequences for the rest of his life.

"What am I gonna do now mom? I- I can't even take care of myself... how am I gonna take care of the girls," he asked, tears flooding through his eyes.

Suddenly, Namjoon bursted inside the room, causing Yoongi to jerk up from beside the bed, and turn around abruptly. His eyes were filled with worry, and they breamed with sad tears as he stood frozen at the sight of Yoongi's mom lifeless body.

Namjoon didn't say anything, he just dropped on his knees and let the tears flood.

He loved her as much as his own mother, she was like a second mother to him, he knew how much of a warrior she was, and how much she did to provide for her children. She was an exceptional woman, she deserved the world and the stars and Yoongi did anything and everything to give it to her.
