Chapter 4

Hunter's POV

'She is going to kill you.'  my wolf Hamil said to me.

I know.  I replied.

Lia came into my office and sat down on the black leather couch that I had. I turned to face her.

"Lia you are going to hate me and most likely kill me but a pack needs out help," I started out cautiously.

"That's fine why would I kill you over that?" she asked.

"The pack that we are going to is the Raven Heart Pack."

"Oh."

Lia's POV

"The pack that we are going to is the Raven Heart Pack." Hunter said quietly.

"Oh." The pack that abused Leo and I now wants our help. What could someone say to that? "What time do we leave?"

"You aren't going to kill me?"

"No first off it would be rude since you saved me and Leo. Secondly what would be the point in that?"

"We leave at three p.m."

"Fine so who all is going?"

"You, Thomas, Aiden, Leo, Jas, and I. The rest will come in about an week."

Jas, Jasmine, is Hunter's mate.

"I guess that I had better go pack." I left Hunter and went to my room.

My room was a combo of black and deep purple. The headboard was a white cushion style. I had a deep purple comforter and black sheets. Thankfully the pack had a lot of money to buy Leo and I furniture for our rooms. I packed like half of my wardrobe in five bags, not knowing how long we were going to be there.

Leo came and knocked on my door an hour later. Saying that we needed to leave. I mind-linked Thomas to help me with my bags. He came and took two bags, Leo also took two and I got the last one. We set them in the van and I hopped on my motorcycle.

'Meeting us there?'  Hunter asked via mind-link.

Yeah. I might need some time before I see everyone again.  I answered back.

'Okay. Just be at the pack house by dinner.'

Sure thing 'dad'.

'You are going to pay for that.'

Consider it payback for making me go back.

'Sorry.'

You are forgiven.

I blocked him from the link and drove. Thomas yelled something about me putting on my helmet so I pulled over and put it on. A few hours later I pulled into a gas station to grab some food and stop for gas. After eating a quick sandwich, a bag of Funyuns, and drowning a bottle of water I headed out.

A few more hours into the trip we reached the border. The boys and Jas kept going while I just sat on my bike mentally preparing myself.

I heard a growl followed by a gruff voice "rogue."

"I am not a rogue."

"Then what pack do you belong to?"

"Black Shadow."

"Shouldn't you be with the Alpha then?"

"Yes I should be."

"Well why aren't you?"

"What's your name?"

"Lucas."

"Well Lucas the reason that I am not with your Alpha is because we have bad history."
