Chapter 6

Lia's POV

I woke up to people talking.

"Alpha she had to be sedated. While we were working on her she ripped out her IV. She might be out for awhile, you are welcome to wait in her room," the nurse said.

"Thank you," I heard a male's voice say.

I heard footsteps then felt sparks in my hand. I opened my eyes to see Alex standing next to the bed.

"Alex what happened?" I asked him squeezing his hand a bit.

"How much do you remember?" he asked sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I remember talking to Evan then fainting, then waking up in the hospital wanting to see you but they wouldn't let me. Now here we are talking."

"Well about the only thing that you missed is the agonizing hours waiting for the doctors to be done checking you over. Why did you pull out you IV when you first came here?"

"I needed to see you and they wouldn't let me so I decided to try and get to you. Where am I?"

"You are at the pack hospital. Leo came out after you collapsed. Then after hearing whatever was so top secret that Evan had to say he picked you up and ran here. I tried to get to you but the doctors took you back and I had to wait outside. Don't ever scare me like that again."

He buried his head in my neck. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him closer. I almost fell asleep like that but the Alex shifted and moved so that I was snuggled in his arms.

"Go to sleep princess. I'll be here when you wake up," Alex whispered gently kissing my hair.

"Promise," I yawned.

"Promise."

I closed my eyes and fell into a peaceful sleep.

I woke up in a hospital bed. Someone was sitting in a chair holding one of my hands. I felt sparks coming from them. He has blonde hair with green eyes. A man walked in. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He felt familiar.

"Hey Lia how are you feeling?" The brown haired man asked.

"Fine I think. Who are you?" I asked my throat scratchy.

"Lia this isn't funny."

"I'm not trying to be who are you two and what is going on?"

"You aren't joking," the blonde said.

"No I am not now, one of you tell me what is going on."

I slid my hand away from him. His face put a sad look on it the he whimpered like a sad puppy. That made me sad. I didn't like him sad.

"Lia my name is Alex and this is your brother Leo," blonde, Alex, said gesturing to him and the brunette, Leo.

"Where am I?"

"You were in an accident and we brought you to the hospital," Alex said.

"Where is the hospital?"

"North of Madison WI."

"What am I doing here?"

"You live here."

"Oh... You explained who Leo was to me but not yourself. Who are you to me?"

"I'm your boyfriend."

"Oh..."

What do you say to that? Some strange hot guy says that the two of you are dating but you can't remember. A man in a white coat and a girl in blue clothes come in. Their eyes glaze over and I look at Leo and Alex. Their eyes are doing the same thing. I wave my hand in front of Alex's eyes but he doesn't respond. I snap my fingers next to his ear and he looks over at me shocked.
