I woke up to Dally's beautiful laugh, the same one I fell in love with. A bouncing on the bed made me turn over. Anne was pressing on the side of the bed. God, she looked so much like him, dark hair, pale eyes, and the same toothy grin. Dally stretched his arms out over the bed to pick her up. A squeal living her mouth as he did.
"How's my princess doing this morning?" He said looking up at her. She laughed even more when he picked her up over his head.

I noticed light wasn't coming through the opened window.
I looked at the alarm clock noticing it said, 6:40. I hopped out of bed grabbing Anne as I did, I ran to her room; pulling clothes out of her dresser drawers.
I quickly changed her clothes and put her hair in pigtails. I went
to mine and Dally's room to put on normal clothing.

When I got into the room Dally was standing by the bed with his arms crossed.
"You know I have to punish you for that, right?" He smirked as he said it.
My eyes widened as he said it,
"What?"
"You took her out of my hands. You should know not to do that Darienne."
He walked away from me slightly stomping his feet as he went.

I finished getting ready. I walked downstairs to get Anne's lunch that i had prepared the night before. As I was making coffee for Dally, Anne wrapped her little arms around my legs.

"Are we ready to go, mommy?"
She stumbled through the words.
I picked her up, placing her on my hip.
"Yeah, come on lets go say goodbye to daddy."

We walked to Dally who was sitting on the couch listening to the radio.
I kissed him on the cheek and Anne hugged him around his neck.
Anne held my hand as we walked out of the house and into the dark blue Volkswagen.
I strapped her into her carseat and sat into the drivers seat.

About ten minutes later we arrived at Anne's daycare. As we walked in the building Anne squeezed my hand and started crying.
"Mommy don't leave me." Anne said as she dug her heels into the ground.
A couple of teens came up to us with a older lady, probably around 50 years old or so.
"Can we help you?" she spoke.
"Yes, can I leave my daughter with you for a few hours? I have a few errands to run and she can be quite a handful.

One of the teens, a boy whose name tag read Allen, handed me a big binder with tabs coming out the sides.
"If you would just give me your information please, you can leave her here." He smiled at me as he said it.
I wrote my name, address, telephone number, and birthday on the lines. As soon as they closed the binder I left before Anne could follow me out.
