Journey (Carl and Enid)

Chapter 3

Back at the house Carl wakes up first.
"Hey c'mon we over slept"
Enid woke up drowsy
" well that's a first"
"Yea I know" Carl gets up and puts on his shoes on.
"In guessing your not going to wait till I get ready." Enid said
"Nope" Carl says and then kissing Enid's forehead.
Carl walks over to his dad
" why didn't you wake me up"
"I thought you needed the sleep"
It wasn't because Enid was sleeping next to me" Rick sighs
" it just barely know this girl and you have seen to give her all your trust"
"Look I'm sorry I didn't tell you about her"
" how could you have I've not been around a lot"
"Well umm just so you know Enid is different i herd that somewhere and now I know what that someone meant"
"Carl I'm happy to hear that and by the way Maggie invited us out to dinner so I could get to know Enid better"
Really awesome I know you'll love her"
Carl smiles real big and runs to go to tell Enid. Michonne walks over to Rick.

"What was that about" she asked him
"Carl has a girlfriend"
"Really I never would have thought who"
"Enid the girl Maggie has took an interest in"
"You know you seem really unhappy about this girlfriend"
"That's what Maggie said"
"Well then it must be true what's up"
"You know how I found out About them I went to go wake up Carl and he was snuggled up with this girl Maggie said they feel safe with each other like she knows things about Carl that I could not even dream of knowing."
"Maybe that's true but did you think she is good for Carl when was last time you saw him smile like that or be so happy she is good for him she is slowly putting him back together and I think Carl Is doing the same with her."
"Yea maybe your right I guess I'll find out in this dinner tonight"
"Ohh there's a dinner"
"Yea there's a dinner."
Rick kisses Michonne and walks to the big house.

Carl runs into the house and surprises Enid.
"Hey guess what"
"What"
"Maggie invited me and my dad to dinner so you can get to know him better" this made Enid nervous but happy. She smiled at Carl and leaned in they kissed in excitement. They stopped and smiled at each other and kissed again and continued till Maggie and Jesus walked in. When they walked in Carl and Enid pulled away to slow and both Maggie and Jesus saw. Jesus smiled while Maggie was trying to look mad but was holding back a grin.
"I should probably get back to work with my dad" Carl said.
"Umm yea see to tonight" Carl walked out Enid looking embarrassed sat on the couch. Jesus do you mind.
"No but Maggie go easy on the girl ok"
Yea"
Maggie gave her a basic parenting speech and that's all.
