Journey (Carl and Enid)

Chapter 2

Carl woke up from a bad dream he was breathing heavily which woke up Enid.
" hey what's wrong are you ok " Enid said in drowsy voice.
" just a bad dream"
" want to talk about it?" Enid asked carefully
"no it was just reality in a dream"
"I'm sorry"
"don't be just be right here with me and I will be fine" Carl said wile wrapping his arm around Enid and pulling her close. Enid whispered in Carl's ear
"I'm not going anywhere"
They snuggled together for the rest of the night.

The next morning around the time 7:45 Carl and Enid are still sleeping and Rick decided not to wake them up.
Rick walked over to Maggie and said.
"Hey umm do you think Carl and Enid are well together" Maggie laughed.
"Of course there together Rick they are snuggled up together in that bed right now last time I checked friends don't do that."
"Yea ok"
"Rick what's wrong you seem unhappy that there together."
"Yea well it's just I feel like I should have known about them sooner like I barely know her and Carl is just completely trusting her."
"Enid's a good kid Rick they both have been through hell and back and right now they need each other to put together broken pieces."
"You make sound like it's some epic love."
"That's because it is." Maggie Invited Rick and Carl over for dinner so Rick could better know Enid.
