Journey (Carl and Enid)

Chapter 4

Later that night. Not quite dinner time

Carl meets Enid under a tree.
"Hey Carl do you wanna go for a walk you know outside?"
"Why?"
"I just... want to get out of here ok"
"Ok but we better hurry."
They get outside and start running through the woods.
"Hey stop here Carl"
Enid turns around.
"Are you nervous for tonight?"
"A little why?"
"Because Carl I'm freaking out what if your dad doesn't like me what if I say something wrong and he makes you break up with what if...?"
"Hey look no matter how many what ifs are going through your brain non of them will happen ok my dad will love you."
"Do you?"
"What"
"Love me do you love me Carl grimes."
Carl puts his hands on Enid's face.
"Enid you are the one person you has made me feel again smile like I haven't smiled before you make me think happy thoughts instead of bad. Carl puts his forehead on Enid's. So yes Enid I do love you" this made Enid cry she whispered in his ear.
"I love you too"
They kissed.
"We should be heading back it's getting dark." Enid said putting her hand around Carl's waist.
