Journey (Carl and Enid)

Chapter 8

2 weeks later
now everyone  in hilltop new about their relationship they were really happy they hugged in public they kissed und public held hands. Rick was starting to get used to it. Rick asked Carl to join him on an run to Alexandria to see what's happening there. Carl of course said yes which made Enid sad.
"Carl common we got to go" Rick said.
"Ok just let me say goodbye to Enid." Carl walks over to Enid.
"Do you have to go"
"Yea I do. my dad needs me"
"I know alright just go I love you"
"Love you too see you soon"
"Yea sure."
A couple hours later Enid was sitting on the steps out side of the trailer playing with knife. Maggie walked by and saw her.
"What's wrong"
"Nothing"
"Common I know that face what's up"
"It's just that Carl he keeps going out with his dad and I know Rick needs him but I just want him safe and i hate to think that he might not come back this time"
"I know what you mean Glenn he was the person who went on runs he was the fastest I always told him not to go,but he went and he came back didn't make it any better all I'm saying is Carl will come back he is strong you have to trust in his capabilities."
And Maggie was right Carl came back every time even in the war against Negan.
