Journey (Carl and Enid)

Chapter 16

"Wow you have kept this place clean I have to tell you this is not what I was expecting."
"Well we do our best."
"Yea I'm sure you do."
"Where are your soldiers going?"
"Well that would ruin the surprise." Enid said.
"Hey what's going on here?" Michonne said while running out of her house. A smile started to form in Carl's face when he saw michonne.
"C -" Rick stopped michonne from saying Carl's name.
"Don't say his name it disrespectful."
"Umm ok." Michonne started to cry and smile.
"Hey baby how you been." Michonne said with tea a running down her cheeks. Enid smiled when Maggie walked out. They didn't expect it to be this hard to see them again. Carl couldn't resist he walked over to Michonne and hugged her she hugged him back.
"I missed you baby."
"Yea you too." Carl walked away and whipped off his tears.
Luckily only marry was around to see him cry all the others we surrounding Alexandria.
"Ok where's your house we want to talk?"
Rick showed them the way. They sat down at the kitchen table.
"So how have you been?"
"We've been fine. Horw about you?" Enid said.
"That's good and we're doing fine."

"You guys looks good what happened?"
"Don't lie we know we don't look the best we have been through a lot."
"We aren't lying you look mature you look good, but Carl what happened to your face?" Michonne asked.
"I was in a knife fight about year ago with someone who wanted to challenge me I won of course."
"What happened to the guy?" Rick asked.
"I shot him." Carl said very coldly and emotionless. They nodded there heads.
"So you don't have a jail."
"No you break our laws well-" Enid jumped in.
"Then you die it's as simple as that."
"But why why do you kill people?" Maggie asked.
"It makes a great example do anything against us and it won't end up good for you."

"What are your rules if I may ask?" Rick said. Carl Enid looked coldly at each other.
"Well we have a lot of People WHO have different jobs but they all start at 6:00 we all wake up at 5:00. Except for the kids they can sleep in till training." That's when duty starts at 6:00 and ends at 7:00."
"Ok what about the whole not calling you by your name thing."
"Well when me and Carl found the community we had a few people with them put us in charge so we took control made rules they elected us we deserve respect That's all and before and after duty together can call us by our names and we aren't so cold."
"So your saying your only like this from 6:00 to 7:00."
"Yes pretty much."
"What your name the Alphas why?" Maggie said.
"Because we are the alpha group our community is twice as bid as Alexandria we have a lot of people an army and when we first go there our small group called us the alpha survivors." Enid said.
"Nice." Rick said.
"Yeah." Carl said.
"So how long will you guys be staying for?" Rick said.
"We don't know probably soon like in an hour."
"An hour?I thought maybe a couple of days at the most."
"We have people we need to get back to. People who need to know we're ok." Enid said with a slight grin.
"I know but it would be nice to get to know you guys Beter the new you." Rick said.
Before they could respond marry came running in.

"Sir ma'am we have problem." Enid and Carl stood up.
"What?" Carl said in a demanding voice.
"It's vivre vivre." Carl no Enid's faces filed with sadness and worry."
"What wrong?" Carl said.
"she's dying." There faces filled with shock Enid was trying not to cry.
"Ok umm... get everyone together we're going home." Enid said with a slight tear rolling down her face.
"Wait who is vivre vivre?"Rick said while grabbing Carl's arm.
"No one she's no one." Rick chases them outside. As there getting ready to leave Rick asks them question.
"Can we come with you?" Carl had no time to argue.
"Yes but only you Michonne and Maggie." The jumped in the van and left Alexandria.
