Journey (Carl and Enid)

Chapter 6

A few days later Carl was going out on a run with his dad and Enid got into some trouble with the kids at hilltop. A boy named Nick was teasing Enid about being out on her own and living with Maggie and being with With a one eyed freak like Carl. When Carl returned he saw Enid being grabbed by Nick and ran over to her.
"Hey back off Nick!"
"Ohh look it's the one eyed prince coming to his princesses rescue" Nick said. Carl punched nick hard they got into a really bad fight Rick tried to break it up but they kept going at each other Nick was stronger then Carl expected but Carl had experience fighting. It was punch after punch till Jesus stepped in and finally broke them up. there faces were bruised and bloody Carl's eyes was out and bleeding.
"That's enough I don't want to know what happened here nor do I care,but it will never happen again we are fighting a war against a bigger enemy I hope this was worth it now go home." Jesus said in rage Carl got up and walked past Nick who was almost passed out and he grabbed Carl's leg and knocked Carl down and Carl got really mad but got up and kept walking
"I have already proved I'm tougher then you knocking me down won't change that"
Carl walked home.

"What the hell was that about"Rick stormed in.
"He was hurting Enid what was I supposed to do stand by and let him hurt her I saw it he was reaching go a knife in his pocket.
Rick sighed
"Carl we need to make a good impression on these people."
"Dad I know but be honest with me you would have done the same thing if Enid was michonne."
"Yea I guess the doc will be in to look at you"

"Well you've looked better"Dr. said.
"I've felt better"
"Ok let's see here"
The doctor looked over Carl a couple of his fingers were broken and he had cuts all over his face but he was ok physically.

A couple days later Enid asked Carl to meet her in the woods they pretended to be Broken up so Nick won't try anything.
"Hey what's up?" Carl asked.
"Nothing I just haven't seen you in while and I was wondering if you were ok"
"I'm ok just a lot of broken fingers"
I'm glad your ok" Enid looked down
"Enid I know you could've taken those kids on your own and that i shouldn't have butted in it's just I care about you and i wanted to show that."
"I know you know I can fight Carl I'm not up set about that I'm upset that we have to meet in the woods to see each other because we are to afraid to be couple in front of Nick and your dad."
"Yea I know"
"Do you I just you make me so happy Carl and i can't hide it anymore your dad thinks we broke up doesn't he"
"Umm..."
"Doesn't he!"
"Yea"
Enid looks down in tears. Carl moves her hair behind her ear.
"Enid"
"What"Enid with anger.
"I love you hell im in love with you Enid and I do understand how hard this is I can't take it either it hurts not to look at you not to hold you hand not to kiss you out in he open"Enid started to cry more and so did Carl. Enid and carl began smiling.
"Carl grimes I'm in love with you too I can't imagine losing you and pretending like It It hurts a lot."
"Ok then"
"What"
"Ok then we are going inside hilltop and telling everyone that we are back together." They kissed and Carl put his hand around Enid's waist and they walked home.
