Chapter 17

60 minutes later they arrived at the gates of their home. There faces were in shock to how big it was. Soldiers started running out so did Carl and Enid. Rick when to get out and Michonne stopped him.
"Rick I didn't want to come here."
"Yea why did you ask?" Maggie said.
"Because I needed to see it I needed to see if they were lying."
"Rick they came with a group of 30 or 40 people they couldn't have been lying." Michonne said.
"I know but I just wanted to see it that's all." They got of the van and walked towards the giant brick walls.
"Let us in." Enid shouted. The did the gates swung open everyone ran inside all heading in one direction. When they walked in there jaws dropped open it huge. To left there was a giant white tent which is everyone was running to in the right there were rows of houses townhouses,regular houses, and apartments there was even a church. They walked to the tent and walked inside Carl and Enid were sitting next to a girl. She had long brown hair like Enid's before she cut it,bright blue eyes and was only about 6 or 7.
"Hey honey we're here ok we're back." Said while grabbing her hand.
"Who is she?" Rick said. Everyone's head turned towards them.
"Who are these people." A random alpha said.
"There family." Enid said.
"Who is she?" Rick says again.
"She's are umm our daughter." There faces filled with every single emotion there could be.
"How she's to old?" Rick said. Everyone looked at him like they were going to kill him.
"What did you say?" Marry said in anger and reaching for her knife.
"Marry don't!" Carl said.
"I won't Rick grimes out of community now he is exiled!" Enid said
"What about the other two miss?" A guy said.
"Leave them they have done nothing wrong." Rick was thrown out of there community. Magie and Michonne were scared.
"I won't everyone out of the tent now!" Enid shouted. Everyone ran out except for Maggie and Michonne. They walked over to Carl and Enid.

"Hey we're sorry about Rick." Maggie sad.
"It's fine its just been really stressfull that's all." Enid said.
"Yea but we're wondering who is she?"
"I'm glad you asked."
"When we first found this place we only had about 20 people. We made them scout out for miles our group found a hospital. There was a nurse there she was bitten, she was taking care of a 2 year old. The nurse asked us to take her we did." Enid said.
"What's her name?" Michonne asked.
"Well the last thing the nurse said to us was make sure she lives life. So we named her Vivre la vie in French that means Live Life. Sometimes we call her Vivre Vivre, live live." Carl said tearing a little.
"She became everyone's hope we all adopted her she was everyone's hope that life could get better. Then she got sick we all broke it happened bout two years ago. Carl and I went into killer mode we didn't always take the name thing so seriously but then it was if slipped up once you die right on the spot. It was a hard time for everyone when she got sick she getting Better tho."
"I thought marry said she was dying." Maggie said.
"Well yes she has been dying for awhile now but she said that to get us back here fast she had scare but everything's fine she is doing really well."A few hours later Enid and Carl started showing them around.
"This place is huge." Michonne said.
"Yes it is it's also very safe." Enid said.
"How safe?" Maggie said.
"Very we have army of 40 people tall brick walls I don't think you could get much safer." Carl said.
"Hmm hey Carl what do say about Hershel and I coming to live here?" Carl turned around on his heels.
"Why?"
"Because sir Alexandria is safe but this place is the future I want that for my son and I have been taking care of Judith she could come live here as well." Carl looked at Enid they nodded in agreement.

So over the next couple weeks Maggie Hershel and Judith started to move in with the Alphas it was great they really fit in well there and are good at following the rules. They were happy everyone was. It was perfect and who knows what the future held for them it was mystery, but for once they felt like it could end up looking like a good life.
