Cheshire's POV
I amusingly watched the God stalk around his cage from the shadows. I breathed in through my nose so I wouldn't make noise and looked up at the camera in the upper right corner from me.

"Ready Cheshire?" Fury asked from my earpiece. Rolling my eyes, I up at the camera. "Stop glaring and get to work." Letting out a puff of air, I slowly walk into the light and grin as Loki's shoulders tense up. He slowly turns around and looks at me.

"There's not many people that can sneak up on me." He states.

"." I replied.

"After whatever tortures Fury can concoct, you would appear as a friend, as a balm. And I would cooperate."

"You and I both know that I'm not your friend. And I personally, would love for you to not cooperate." Loki smirks briefly as I begin to stalk around his cage.

"I want to know what you've done to Agent Barton."

"I'd say I've expanded his mind." Growling, I glare up him.

"And once you've won. Once you're king of the mountain. What happens to his mind?" Loki's eyes narrow in jealousy.

"Is this love, Cheshire?" he asks. I roll my eyes and sit on one of the rails

"Love is a misunderstanding between two fools. And I owe him."

"Tell me." Letting out a puff of air I glance up at the camera before looking back at Loki.

"Before Fury brought me to SHIELD, I um...well, I made a name for myself. I have a very specific skillset. I didn't care who I used it for, or on. I got on SHIELD's radar in a bad way. Agent Barton was the only one who didn't look at me as a monster."

"And what will you do if I vow to spare him?"
"Not shoot you in your manparts like I was planning to." Loki laughs.

"Ah, no. But I like this. Your world in the balance, and you bargain for one man?"

"Regimes fall every day. I tend not to weep over that, I'm Russian... or was."

"What is it you want?"

"It's really not that complicated. I've got red in my ledger, I'd like to wipe it out."

"Can you? Can you wipe out that much red? The Assassin's daughter? The Creed? When you betrayed your people? Barton told me everything. Your ledger is dripping, it's gushing red, and you think saving a man no more virtuous than yourself will change anything?" I stand up and stalk right up to the glass.

"And you think taking over my world will make Daddy dearest love you?" I grin as Loki's eyes harden and he walks right up to me.

"You know nothing."

"Oh really? I know Oden kept you as his son to prevent the Frost Giants from starting another war with Asgard." My eyes glimmer as I watch him start to break. "Oh, and you know what? I think deep down you knew why Daddy favored Thor more than you. I mean, other than his golden locks and rippling pectorals."

"ENOUGH!" Loki yells, slamming his hand against the glass. "You lie and kill in the service of liars and killers. You pretend to be separate, to have your own code, something that makes up for the horrors. But they are a part of you, and they will never go away!" Flinching, I step back.
"I wasn't going to touch Barton. But now, I'll be sure to gut him. Slowly. Intimately. In every way you know he fears! Unless of course, you'd like to join me. Join me Cheshire, and be my queen."

"I'll pass you heartless jackass." I reply, turning around and walking away. "You're a monster." I whisper. Loki laughs.

"No, you brought the monster." Grinning, I straighten my back and turn to face him.

"So, Banner... that's your play." Loki staggers back, clearly shocked.

"What?" my grin turns into a smirk as I tap my earpiece.

"Loki means to unleash the Hulk. Keep Banner in the lab, I'm on my way. Send Thor as well." I start to walk away but turn to look at Loki one last time.

"Thank you for your cooperation ."

The door slams behind me and I giggle before towards Bruce's lab.
As I get closer, I hear shouting and stop. Sighing, I glance through one of the windows and roll my eyes.

"Excuse me, did WE come to YOUR planet and blow stuff up?"

"Did you always give your champions such mistrust?" Groaning loudly, I bang my head against the window causing everyone to look at me. I walk into the room and lean against the window.

"Can we please stop arguing and focus on the fact that Loki's glow stick of death is glowing bright blue?" Everyone stops and looks at the scepter before the computer beeps, and Banner walks over. A second passes before Banner's eyes go wide.

"Oh, my god!" Suddenly, an explosion blows open the side of the Helicarrier and all of us are thrown across the room. I let out a grunt as I'm blasted through the glass windows and into the hallway.

"Are you fucking serious?" I groan out as I lift myself from the glass covered floor. Gasping, I reach up to my abdomen and grasp the huge piece of glass before quickly pulling it out. Ignoring the blood gushing out, I tap my earpiece.

"Someone better tell me who did this so I can gut them." I as I hold my abdomen and stand up.

"Cheshire, initiate lockdown of the detention section and then get to the armory." Fury replies. I roll my eyes and hold onto the hallway wall as I make my way towards Loki.

"You never answered my question Boss man."

"I know Cheshire, just get to the detention center." I look down at my hand holding my abdomen and grimace at the sight.
