I'm really mad that Lani hasn't told anybody about us. Her fans aren't stupid they pick up on anything. I'm just not up for all of the stress and drama right now.
I cuddle up in bed with Lani not by my side. She was in the studio downstairs. All she does is work on that music I think it therapeutic for her.
I really need her by my side right now. I hear the studio door close and footsteps all the way into the room. "Bae,you can't avoid me all day." She said closing the door and climbing into the bed.
"I'm sorry ok I'll make it up."
"Just tell me you don't want to be with me anymore."
"What, why would I say that?"
"It's obvious you don't want this relationship so don't play with me Lani just tell me now." I said sitting up in the bed.
"Where is this coming from I love you Cyn I tell you that everyday." She said sitting next to me.
"You don't show it though." Lani chuckles.
"I know baby I haven't had the time but trust me I love you more than anything." She pecks my lips repeatedly before stoping.
"Now lets go to sleep we have a busy day tomorrow."
"Lani."
"Yeah."
"Can we try to make some time out for us tomorrow?" She lets out a loud sigh. "I'll try baby but I can't promise."
"I love you."
"I love you too, goodnight." I said before turning off the lights and snuggling into her.
***** I wake up to Lani out of bed I check the time realizing that I had a photoshoot in an hour. I need to cancel some of the meetings so I can have some time for lani.
I've been really distant since my mom died and I want to tell her how I feel.
****** After the photoshoot Robyn brought me to her house. "Make yourself at home." She said putting her things down.
She grabs a bottle and two glasses and sits on the couch next to me. "So what's on your mind?"
"I don't know I just feel like things between Lani and I have changed and not in a good way." I started.
"How so?"
"Well we never have time for each other and we haven't had sex in forever and I don't know I'm just not satisfied."
"Wow, you feel comfortable enough to tell me this?"
"Why wouldn't I your my friend."
"About that I don't know if us being just friends is going to work." Robyn said scooting closer.
"What else is there to be?"
"You ever heard of friends with benefits?" She asked climbing on top of my lap.
"Yeah but-
"Let's try it out and if you don't like it we won't do it again."
