After bing at Robyn's house I went home and took a shower putting some clothes on to meet Lani. She sent me this weird address I've never been there before so I'm excited but nervous to see what's going to happen.
I take out a dress that Lani bought me just for today. I put it on looking in the mirror. I let out a sigh seeing that I was gaining weight.
I turn the curling iron on while I do my makeup. My phone starts to ring and lani's name pops up. "Hello." I said putting it on speaker.
"Where are u?"
"I'm almost out the house I'm about to grab my keys now." I said lying. "OK I'll see u when u get here."
"Okay,love you bye." I said before hanging up.
****** I make it to the place walking inside with rose petals and candles on the floor.I see a small table that Lani was sitting at she looked like she was on the phone yelling.
She looks over at me and hangs up. I walk over giving her a hug and kiss before sitting down. "So how was your day?" She asked.
"It was good what about you?" She lets out a sigh bitting her lip. "It was ok but I rather not talk about it." She said.
"Okay I have something to tell you."
"So we've been together for a while before this fame stuff happened and my mom recently died." Lani nods giving me her full attention.
"Nothings the same anymore Lani we always have to have secretary with us we can never go out in the public I'm surprised nobody knew I was walking in here."
"I thought u wanted this though you've been working in the modeling business trying to make it big and now you have." She said looking confused.
"I did but I didn't know what all came with this."
"Well this is what it comes with I'm going to have to spend extra hour in the studio I'm going to be coming home late you need to get use to this."
"I love you I really do and I want you to know that even if we don't have time for each other I still want you to be on good terms." Lani added.
"I love you too." I said with a smile as we hold hands across the table. "I got something else to tell you too."
I look at her confused.
"So as you said we've been with each other for a while now and I really feel like we could be together forever." She digs in her pocket pulling a small box out.
"Lani I-
"Don't worry it's a promise ring." She said chuckling.
"I can actually see us together in the long run and I just want to show you that I promise to be loyal and always stand by you." I instantly fell guilty about earlier.
But I don't want to tell her because she just gave me a promise ring and this is the only time we actually spent together since this fame shit.
