I apologized to Lani and we are now good she's coming to visit today and she's staying for like a day or two to hang out with me.
I was at the airport waiting for her to walk in. I was excited to tell her that I got a spot in the modeling business I'm not that famous yet so she wouldn't know.
My phone starts to ring and I answer. "Hello."
"Hey the plane is about to land in a few minutes." Lani said as butterflies start in my stomach. "I can't wait to see you it's so boring down here." I said as I knew she was smirking.
I hope Lani doesn't expect this to be special or something this is just us spending time together as friends. I look out of the window as the plane lands.
"Okay let me get off this phone I'm not even suppose to be on me." She said causing me to laugh.
"Okay,bye." People start to leave out of the plane as I look around for Lani. I see her walking up with her bags.
I was so happy to see her I ran to her jumping on her and wrapping my legs around her. "Damn I'm happy to see you too." She said dropping her bags.
I laugh as I get down. Lani stops and looks into my eyes bitting her lip. I needed to tell her that this was just a friendly get together and nothing needs to happen between us.
"Lani I need to tell you something."
"Wassup." She said putting her hands in her pockets.
My mom doesn't know about what happened she thinks we're just friends and I want her to keep thinking that so-
"I know just act like we're friends and don't be touching all on you." Lani said cutting me off. I nod my head I felt stupid because she knew what I was going to say.
"I'm sorry Lani."
"It's cool I understand."
I help her grab her bags as we leave the air port.
