Waking up I see a missed call from kehlani. I wondering what she wants so I call her and she answers. "Hey Lani what's up?" I asked still getting use to how my mouth feels from yesterday.
"Can we meet somewhere I need to show you in person?" She said. "Umm sure where at?"
"Meet me at the park nobody ever goes to." She says before hanging up. That's a weird place to meet. As I look through my phone chris comes through the door.
I quickly jump out of bed and try to run into the bathroom but he gets in my way.
"Chris my mouth really hurts please not today." I said in true pain." I'm sorry about last night I didn't mean to do that." He said as I roll my eyes.
He puts his hand under my chin lightly moving so that I was looking him in the eyes. "I love you."
" I Love you too." I said kissing him. "Where did you go last night?"
"With some friends."
"O, well I'm going out with a friend I'll be back later." I said walking into the bathroom.
Kehlani
I sit on the bench looking around for cyn and spot her walking my way. "Hey wassup." She said sitting down.
"So I was leaving from work and I saw this." I said showing her a picture of Chris and some girl.
She shakes her head and covers her face with her hands. "I didn't want to tell you but I thought it would be best." I said felling guilty.
I hear sniffles and she removes her hands to show her now red face with mascara on it. "Cyn I'm sorry I just thought you deserved to know." She shook her head.
"Thanks, is that all?" I nod my head wiping a tear from her face. She starts to get up but I grab her hand.
"Lani I'm sorry I can't." She said breaking down. I hold her into my chest and her sobs fill the park.
"Cyn I know we just met but your a beautiful, smart,intelligent person and if he can't see that he never will." I said.
"I've been with him for three years going on four and he just doesn't treat me like he use to."
"He use to kiss me everyday, tell me I'm beautiful then it all went down hill to hitting and slapping and calling bitch and slut." I was caught back by what she said.
"Cyn he hits you?" She nods clearly ashamed.
"Cyn you need to leave like now." I said seriously.
"But I can't I love him and I don't have anyone else to stay with."
"Look I'll rent you a hotel room." I said.
"No you don't know how crazy he is he will find me and I don't feel safe by myself."
"Maybe you can stay by me for a few days then?" I questioned. "Lani we just met and me invading your privacy is one thing I won't do." She said smiling.
"You invading what I have no life there for I need no privacy." I said causing her to laugh.
"Just think about it okay." I said.
She puts her hands in mine looking me in my eyes. "Thank you."
