"It's morning get up!" I heard a voice yell next to me.

My eyes blinked open. It was completely dark.

"You still aren't up yet." Clarified the voice which I recognized as Lukkas'.

"I know. Goway."

"Come on I want to hang out with you. Please?" He pleaded.

"Fine. But just this once." I sat up in bed. I was still wearing the tank top from the night before, but I didn't really care.

"Awesome." He mutyered, pulling me up. I saw the scar on his forehead glint in the sliver of light from there door. It was just like mine.

"Come on."

We walked out of the room, heading left to the doors outside.

"I found something." He pushed open the metal doors. I squinted to see. "You'll love it."

"Alright, but this better not be a joke."

We headed towards a cluster of trees. After a few minutes of walking, we stopped.

"What is it?" I asked.

Next to I felt Lukkas' arms move to his mouth. He whistled loudly, watching around us.

I stayed completely still, not sure what was going on.

A huge black shape loomed towards us. It jumped up, two arm like things sticking out. They hit my chest and I fell backwards.

I heard a laugh as the creature put all its weight in me. It started to Bit me with something wet, all over my face.

"Hey, alright boy, get off her." Lukkas said, pulling the thing away as I sat up.

"What was that?" I painted heavily.

"I don't know what it's called but it's adorable isn't it?" Lukkas cooed, rubbing it's neck.

I peered at the black mass in front of me. It was huge. Sitting it was maybe three feet tall. There was a tongue hanging out of its mouth and two floppy ears hung by its head. A tail flopped around happily behind it.

"Is it safe?" I asked.

"If course," Lukkas replied, eyes still on it. "He wouldn't hurt anyone."

I reached out a hand cautiously. The thing sniffed it then stuck out its tongue. I laughed, scratching its head.

"He needs a name." I decided.

"Okay." Lukkas agreed. "But you choose."

"Rinbo." I said after a minute.

Lukkas looked at me curiously then his eyes showed enlightenment.

"Rinbo. It uses the same letters as..." He trailed off.

"Yeah." I sighed, feeling a pang of sorrow. Rinbo locked my chin and I smiled.

"Should we tell the others?" Lukkas asked, scratching Rinbo's ear.

"Not yet." I murmered. "They might be scared of him. And he still could be dangerous."

"I guess that's true." Lukkas sighed. "Want to head back?"

"Yeah." I stood.

"You can go buddy." Lukkas pointed back into the woods. Rinbo looked that direction, then nuzzled Lukkas one last time before running off.

We got back around daybreak, heading inside to meet the others.

"Where have you two been?" Chad asked as we entered, lifting his eyebrows.
