Krani ran through the Temple, looking for other Padawans who had braids even though they were not a species that grew hair. She came first to a very young girl with orange skin. A Togruta, Krani remembered. The stunning contrast of her skin nearly took her breath away, but she forged on. Crouching to be on the girl's level, she asked, "What is your name?"
"I'm Ahsoka." The girl said in her sweet voice.
"What's your braid made out of, Ahsoka?"
Touching the strand, Ahsoka thought for a moment. "Silka beads."
Krani filed the thought away. "Thanks, Ahsoka!" She waved as she half ran, half skipped away. The next to catch her eye was an older Padawan with a bright pink shimmersilk ribbon braided in. Suddenly, Krani was struck with a brilliant idea. Running again, she headed for the workshop.
