Krani watched the Knight. He was behaving strangely. When her hand touched her braid substitute, he had tensed up and half-whispered the words "iron braid". She watched him nervously. What was he saying?
"I'm... I'm Krani Viall. Her voice seemed to shake him awake.
"I'm Jedi Knight Joel Hudsh." His voice was deep and his handshake firm. "I've been thinking of you often over the last few days."
"Oh?" She blinked. A Knight had been thinking of her? Her heart started beating faster Was this her chance to be chosen?
"Yes. I think it would be best if I can learn more about you."
Krani nodded and turning to Keijo, asked him to excuse her. He nodded an watched them as they walked away.
