8 1/2 months pregnant
Jeremiah came home from work and immediately hopped into bed beside his wife. 'Hey baby, how you feeling today?" he asked, kissing his wife and bringing a smile to her face. "Well, really good now that your home," she replied as she kissed him back. Leaning closer to her belly, Jeremiah placed his hands on both sides of her stomach, just as his son kicked, hard. In awe of this experience, he couldn't wipe the smile off his face. "Hi baby, Daddy's here. I love you so much and I can't wait to meet you. I promise to be the best daddy to you and to love and protect you and mommy both, as long as I live." He said, rubbing her belly where he kicked. Content with his life, he gathered her close and after giving her another kiss, he went downstairs to make dinner.
With dinner eaten and dishes done, Jeremiah once again went to join his wife in their room and settled down for bed. After climbing in next to her and cradling her next to him, he kissed her. "Good night baby" he said, as he kissed her forehead. "And good night to you as well," he said with a smile on his face as he kissed her belly. With a smile on her face, Emma inched closer to her husband and relaxed in his arms. As her eyes closed and she drifted off to sleep, her last conscious thought was how lucky she was to have a husband like Jeremiah.
