Imagine going to a Hogwarts party with Newt and playing Seven Minutes in Heaven.

"C'mon Y/N, this is stupid, I don't even like parties," groaned Newt as you pulled him by his arm towards the Hufflepuff common room.  Before you two even entered you could feel the music lightly pulsating the ground like a drum.

You stop to face him, adjusting his Hufflepuff scarf and then tousling his hair which makes him chuckle. "Newt, it'll be fun. Plus, you need this little stress reliever."

He sighs once again to show you just how much he doesn't want to go in. He slowly faces towards the floor, putting his hands in his pockets, "At least you were invited, it's odd if I show up uninvited."

You give Newt a big sigh yourself, "A: this is your own house, you're invited automatically and B: because your my best friend, you're invited automatically. Either way, you're invited whether you think so or not."

He gives you a small smile before pushing open the passage to the common room. Instantly, the cozy bright yellow hue fills your body with a sense of happiness and safety, like it always had.

Some year ones and twos were dancing around to some upbeat jazz in the corner of the large common room, swaying their hips with no care in the world. Some year fours and fives were sitting at the small tables playing a type of card game. There were also some year sixes and sevens sipping on some pumpkin juice and butterbeer on the floor, laughing and talking loudly. The cliques were so prominent it was almost making you a little angry.

"Maybe we should just hangout in your common room," mumbled Newt, still making direct eye contact with the hardwood floor. You scoff and pull him over to the drinks, handing him a yellow mug of butterbeer. He looks at you hesitantly before grabbing the handle of the mug. You also grab yourself a drink. "If we get caught drinking this in here, we will be in so much trouble," he says so quietly that you could barely hear him. "In fact, if any of the teachers so much as walk in here, we will be in so much trouble. We're breaking curfew and drinking."

You face him and notice that he seemed very anxious and nervous. You quickly pull him towards a table and push him down on a chair, you take a seat parallel to him. "We won't get caught, don't worry Newt. Just try to have as much fun as you possibly can. I can't imagine when the next party will be thrown, it doesn't happen very often."

One of the year threes, a short Gryffindor with fair blond hair, slowly walked over to one of the year sixes, a Ravenclaw, awkwardly. Before we he said anything, you could see him swallow hard. "C-could we get some drinks?"

The Ravenclaw, with the name of Jack, looked down at the boy and howled with laughter, his friends howling along with him. "Back off kid," he spat.

Newt looked over at you with a look of concern, as if he knew exactly what you were about to do. You quickly walk over to the group of year sixes and sevens. "What's the point of a party if each of our group of friends are stuffed in a corner not even trying to make any contact with anyone else?" you said with more strictness in your voice than you wanted. Newt quickly rushed over and stood next to you, like the good friend he is.

Jack rolled his eyes, "What do you suggest we do 'mom'?"

You thought for a second before giving him an innocent smile. "Let's play 7 minutes in heaven." Quickly he looked around at his friends, checking to see how they felt about your idea. They all shrugged their shoulders and slowly nodded their heads.

"Why not," Jack shrugged before sitting down on the floor. His friends followed his actions and absentmindedly sat down around him. All the people in the room sat down as well, suddenly interested in what was going on. Soon enough almost everyone was sat around in one area. You look over at Newt, whose face was as red as a tomato, and grab his arm to sit at one of the tables.
