Talia basked in the company of others. She wanted to be surrounded by them, never alone for even a second.
That didn't help the fact that she felt lonely though. All the people around her, and she still felt alone, like she wasn't who they thought she was, like she didn't belong. Everyone was a stranger. They only saw what they wanted to see, noticed the image she had created.
So she pushed them away.
She pushed everyone away. Her family, her friends, her bestfriend.
Even herself.
She was isolated, and all that was left was the monster, her dreams of swimming through the water, the want of the icy and numb feeling against her warm skin, for it to all be-
Riley is interrupted as a nurse rushes out of a room down the hall, grabbing almost everyone's immediate attention. She runs towards Will and Callum with a wide smile on her face.
