A/N: Amidst all of what is happening in our country right now, I found time to release the negative vibes and voila - here's a new update. I just hope that this update is not too "sabaw" for you. Enjoy! ;)

P.S. Wasn't able to proofread this UD, so please bear with it for a while. I am so sorry if there are typographical or grammatical errors. ;)

Leni's POV

It was a normal day in my office. I was not as busy as I was in the past, few days. I was just reading some documents my assistant submitted earlier to check on the revisions made by my staff. As I was focused on reading, my Chief of Staff knocked on the door.

I let him in. "Pasok..."

"Good afternoon po, Ma'am!" Philip greeted me with a smile.

I smiled and greeted him back. "Good afternoon, Philip! Ano'ng sa'tin?"

He closed the door and walked towards my table. "Nag-text po kasi si Sir Noy..."

I was not shocked. I anticipated that text. Even though I already know why Noy texted my staff, I still chose to listen to the reason behind that sudden text. "Ano'ng sabi?"

Philip unlocked his phone before answering me. He read the text message to me. "Ini-invite po kayo doon sa event po sa EDSA sa 24... Ano po ang isasagot ko?"

I placed my hands under my chin and looked at the Vice President's seal inside my office. "Pakisabi mo na titingnan ko kung makakasama ako..."

"Okay po, Ma'am! I will text him po right away. Have a good day po!" He said as he prepared to go out of my office.

I smiled again. "Thank you, Philip! Have a good day, too!"

When Philip was gone, I grabbed my phone on the table. I unlocked it to check for the time. It was 2:30 in the afternoon. I opened several unread messages. Most of it were from our LGU partners asking about the current status of the Angat Buhay program of my office and one's from Tricia - complaining about the constant stomach pain that she was experiencing. I called her immediately.

"Hello, ate! How are you feeling now? Masakit pa ba ang tiyan mo?"

It took her a while before she could answer me. "Hi Mama... Okay na po ako... Hindi na po masyadong masakit."

"Do you want me to tell your PSGs to bring you home na? I will write an excuse letter na lang to your professors..." I became worried as I sensed that my daughter's in deep pain.

"No na, Mama... Pinauwi na rin po ako ng prof ko kanina because umatake na naman nga po 'yong sakit..."

I became even more worried. "Trish, I'll just pack my things, okay... I'm going home now..."

"Mama, huwag na po... I'm okay naman na po... Don't worry about me."
