"So, Mitch, why do you want this job?" He was sat in a fairly sized office opposite a rather stern looking women. Mitch knew Scott was just outside and that, in a way, put him at little bit more at ease.

Miss Lynn was aparently very nice once you got to know her but Mitch wasn't so sure. She seemed very uptight, like the teacher everyone was scared of at school.

He took a deep breathe. "I want to share my love of music with the youth of today. Some genres of music are slowly getting lost in today's society and I want to help bring them back. I want people to have the opportunity to find their passion and hopefully help them along the way." Mitch looked at Miss Lynn nervously. He'd practised this so many times, he hope it was the right answer.

"Ok. ..." She wrote something down on her clipboard. "And what do you think you could give that other candidates can't."

Mitch hadn't practised this question. He panicked.

"Urm...." he searched for an idea. What made him special?

"I don't have all day." Miss Lynn said impatiently.

"Ok, right." Mitch took a deep breathe. "I can give people hope, show kids that, no matter how hard their life is now, it will get better. But you have to fight for these things. You have to accept help. You can't keep everything bottled up." Mitch could see miss Lynn's face slowly relaxing from its tight expression.

"I want to be there for them. I dont know.....offer them advice, be there for them. Some kids have it really hard,  especially in their teenage years. I want to encourage people to be who they are and not be ashamed of it. That's what I can give."

Mis Lynn's eyes widened. "Wow....that was certainly, passionate." She laughed.

"Too passionate?" Mitch asked.

"You can neve have too much passion, Mitch. Or....should I say Mr. Grassi." She smiled.

"What? I got the job!" Mitch exclaimed.

"Woah slow down. You've got a trial tomorrow. Don't mess it up." She grinned

"I won't!" Mitch said excitedly, heading out of the door.

"Scott!" He yelled down the hall when he saw him leaning against the wall.

"Please tell me it went well?" Scott looked hopeful.

"I've got a trial tomorrow!"

Mitch ran up to Scott and Scott hugged him.

"I've so proud of you." Scott grinned.

"Thank you for everything, I wouldn't have this job if it wasn't for you."

"I've didn't give you the job, you did."
