Sharmia's PoV
I really need to learn when to shut up. I couldn't help it. I know I'm with Sasha now but that Aaron was so handsome and muscular. I just have never had a serious relationship like I've had with Sasha. Usually I just sleep with my partners a few times and then break up with them, get with a new person and repeat the process. But Sasha is my little emo puppy, I just wanna hold her close and keep her to myself. And now I've made her jealous of some guy.

I eventually caught up with her and tried getting her attention, but of course she was giving me the silent treatment. For so one who doesn't understand emotions, she can be really mad when she wants to be.
"Sasha..." I say, only for her to ignore me "Sasha, please talk to me"

"About what?" She says, still walking away "you're sorry and you think I'm better than Aaron?"

"How did you kno-"

"I don't need harihu eyes to guess what you're thinking" she stopped walking "I also don't need to hear you say either of those things"

"Really?" I looked at her oddly "usually most girls want me to wait on them hand and foot"

"Well...I'm not like most girls" she turned away from me

"No..." I wrapped my arms around her "...and that's why I love you, you're unique and beautiful"

"Really?" She asked monotonously as always

"Of course, you're my little emo puppy..."

I covered my mouth, not meaning to say that out loud. I may call her that personally, but I've never actually called her it to her face. She looked at me with slight confusion on her face.
"Little emo puppy?" She tilted her head "are you making pet names for me?"

"Well...just the one name" I admitted "sorry, I won't call you it again if you don't like it"

"No, I like it..." She pulled herself close to me

Our lips then momentarily met before she pulled herself away and spoke.
"...I'm sorry for getting jealous" she apologised

"No, I'm sorry for drooling over Aaron" I told her "you're the only one I love, and I'll prove it"

"Prove it how?"

"Come on, I'll show you"

I then take her hand and guide for her to come with me. When we got back to our room, we were gonna have some fun...

Jasmine's PoV
When James said shits hit the fan, he wasn't wrong, we've lost so much; the two arkkon pieces are gone, Ulag and Jaymos ditched us and...Jacob. No, I have to keep my mind off of Jacob. We'll get him back.

To take my mind off of...things, I turn to James and begin to get a better grip on what exactly has happened in the last five years.
"Hey, James, apart from Ulag and Jaymos leaving, what other shit has happened?" I ask him

"Well, the serpentine's return is public news now, everyone's shitting bricks at the thought of the serpentine army marching on the republic" he answered

"Understandable, the serpentine started one Great War, whose to say they won't start a second one?" I nodded "anything else?"
