Charlotte's PoV
We ran as we dodged the constant barrage of bullets coming from the mercenaries chasing us. Why did Ulag want their guns anyway? He usually only uses a shotgun. Anyway, we kept running and every so often Kaylub and Okeer would stop and give covering fire. Kaylub seems to be quite good with that hand cannon of his, maybe I could use that to my advantage when trying to convince Jessica to let him come with us.

I really want Kaylub to come with us, mainly because I saw him get shot and I couldn't bear the thought of my best friend losing his life because I left him on a space station filled with killers, thugs and other violent criminals. Honestly, I think the only issue that Jessica will have with Kaylub is that she doesn't know if she can trust him. Hopefully I'll be able to convince her.

We ran along the huge platforms that connected all the different areas on this level of the station. Then we heard a loud speaker boom through the station, then suddenly we heard Reaver's voice.
"Attention, all personnel, our newest prisoners in cell block 37-A have escaped" Reaver told everyone listening "so be on the look out for Jessica Starillian and her group, I want them alive, also the one who brings me the severed head of my daughter shall be rewarded with their own ward here on the citadel, that is all"

Jessica was captured?! God, we need to help her. But Ulag was too busy with his wagon of weapons to provide any help.
"Is the Jessica that was just mentioned the same as your Jessica?" Kaylub said, breaking my thoughts

"Yeah" I nodded

"Well, come on then" he moved off to the right down a corridor "I know where the cell blocks end up at"

"Ulag, Okeer, Vaxenier, this way" I told them

Ulag changed the course of his wheelbarrow to where I pointed and the three of them followed Kaylub. We ran down the corridor and when we reached a large set of platforms, I looked down and recognised the large hat of Jaymos running with four others. I knew it was them, so I called them.
"Jessica!" I called, causing her to turn around

As we began making our way to them, only one thought was stuck in my mind:: what the hell was she wearing?
