Chapter 25

Jessica's PoV
I caught up with Charlotte and Jasmine and I knew, I had to tell them about seeing Mason. Okay, so first I see Elizabeth's spirit, then I see a vision of some creatures, and now I see Mason, the son of Kaan. What is going on with me? Is it the pieces? Are they the cause of these visions? And the vision of the humanoid creatures, I should tell someone about that, and learn about this planet Mü. I had never heard of a planet with such a name. Once I learn more about this planet I'll go there to investigate.
"Hey, Jess, whatcha thinking about?" Jasmine nudged me

"Well...it's about the arkkon piece" I had to tell them

"You mean when you're eyes started glowing on the citadel?" Charlotte asked

"Yeah, back on the citadel, I had some kind of vision" they both looked intrigued "I saw three human shaped creatures on a planet called Mü, chanting about someone called Crotus"

"Crotus?" Charlotte asked "that's an arkkion name, as for this Mü I don't think there's a charted planet under that name"

"Well, just then outside my room, I saw Mason" I told them

"You might just need some sleep" Jasmine commented "it's one thing getting visions from an arkkon piece, it's another to see the ghost of a demigod"

"It's true, I saw him, and he said the only was I can kill Draxx is by using the arkkon blade"

"We need to tell master Orish about this" Charlotte suggested

"Yeah" Jasmine "right after we tell him we're alive"

I completely forgot that we would have been missing for five years. Jasmine was right, we had to tell master Orish about everything that's happened. Then as I'm about to speak, I hear cheering.
"Jynx! Jynx! Jynx!" We could hear Bailey, Ulag and Jaymos calling

We looked in the armoury and saw Bailey, Ulag and Jaymos around Jynx, cheering her on as she was doing 90 degree push ups. We walked into the armoury and saw that Kaylub was leaned against a doorway.
"She's been doing that for twenty minutes" Kaylub remarked

"Really?" Jasmine asked, to which Kaylub nodded

Then when Jynx saw me, she stopped doing push ups and walked over.
"Hello, Jessica" she said "Jynx likes your ship, it's got lots of room and fun people"

"Well I'm glad you like it here..." I stopped as I looked at her head

I saw that her head had dried blood on it, probably from back on the citadel.
"Your head is bleeding" I said as I had a closer look

"Jynx is fine" she said

"Let me look"

She nodded and sat down. I placed the arkkon piece on the ground while I cleaned the blood off of Jynx's forehead.

Charlotte's PoV
I watched as Jynx sat down on a box. I saw Jessica gently wipe the crimson crusted blood from Jynx's forehead. I thought Jessica was scared of blood? Before I could ask, however, Jasmine beat me to it.
"Hey, Jess, I thought you didn't like blood?" Jasmine asked

"I don't, but that's only when it's dripping wet" she answered while wiping Jynx's head "I can deal with dry blood a lot better"

I watched as Jynx flinched slightly at Jessica. I guess she wiped over the cut. Jessica apologised and then continued to clean her head. While she did, I couldn't help but feel weird, like a combination of sad and angry. I wasn't sure how to feel about Jynx, but I felt like I didn't want Jessica to have even found her. The feeling must've been visual as well, because Jasmine nudged me and pulled me back a bit.
"What's up with you?" Jasmine whispered

"Nothing" I tried to lie, but she wasn't stupid

She looked at Jessica and Jynx and then back at me "are you...jealous?"

"What? No" I said, not even sure of my answer "maybe? I don't know"

"Ohh, green is not a good look on you, Charlotte" she said "but seriously, look at Jynx, does she look like the kind of girl Jessica would go out with?"

I look at Jynx and see her fiddling with her gun like it was a child's toy while Jessica cleaned her head. I had to admit, Jynx was cute in the child like way. I understood what Jasmine was saying.
"No" I told her

"Exactly" Jasmine gloated "Jess loves you, Jynx is just like your...mentally disturbed baby"

She was right. At least I knew she was, but I still felt jealous. Then, the communications called out with James' voice.
"Ma'am, a communications channel just opened up with the grand warden council" he said "master Orish is requesting to speak with you"

What? How does he know that we're alive? We haven't spoken with any republic officials since we left Elizabeth's requiem. Jessica stood up and turned to Jasmine.
"Jasmine, can you take the arkkon piece to the vault while I go to the cockpit?" Jessica asks

"Yeah, sure" Jasmine nodded

Jasmine took the piece and Jessica and I went to the cockpit to speak with master Orish...
