Jessica's PoV
The shuttle ride up to the ascension was quiet for the most part, except for the cannon fire from outside and Bailey shouting to the pilot, asking what's taking so long to get to the ascension. I really couldn't believe this was happening; Reaver was above, Ivy was below. Pirates and serpentine alike were attacking, and we were completely outnumbered.

How were we going to get out of this? Since all the experienced gala-blade users were here; Draxx, Baxter, Jasmine, Trdent, Aaron and myself. Sure Charlotte was on the ascension...wait, Charlotte was on the ascension! Oh my god! We need to get back to the ship now.
"James, what's the situation on the ship?" Jasmine said, breaking me out of my thoughts

"We have pirates attacking on three fronts; pirates are trying to take the bridge, the vault is under siege, and Reaver him fucking self is down in the shuttle bay" James reported after a moment "Vaxenier apparently has a plan in motion to stop more pirates coming onboard, but I don't know what"

"Vaxenier always has a plan for any situation" Draxx stated "trust me, it'll work"

"Indeed" Orish nodded

I could barely trust him, but something tells me Draxx is being truthful when talking about Vaxenier. I know they fought each other when Vaxenier was in previous generations of the order of the nine, but from the very moment Vaxenier took the arkkon piece from Draxx, I feel like they know each other as more than enemies, perhaps they were once friends or allies at the very least.
"Master" I heard Aaron say to Draxx

"Yes, knight" Draxx looked at his knight

"I would suggest that when we get aboard the ascension, we make the vault our top priority" Aaron suggested

"Why?" I cut in

"Because protecting the arkkon pieces should be our primary objective" Aaron told me "everything else is expendable"

"Aaron's right" Jasmine added "if Reaver gets the arkkon pieces, it'd be worse than if Ivy or even Draxx got them"

"Okay, we'll split up" I decided "Draxx, you come with me and master Orish to the vault, Bailey and Trident, you two go to the bridge, Jasmine, you, Aaron and Baxter stay in the hanger and deal with Reaver"

"Baxter?" Draxx turned to Baxter "It's been a while"

"I'm surprised you didn't forget about me, Draxx" Baxter said, clenching a fist

"How could I forget you?" Draxx asked rhetorically "after all, you worked against me more than enough times"

"What can I say?" He looked at Draxx "I have my reasons"

"Sir, we're about to board the ascension" the pilot reported to Bailey

"Copy that" Bailey responded

"Be ready" I told everyone

Just then I could feel the shuttle slow down as it entered the shuttle bay. We all readied our weapons and when the shuttle doors opened, we ran out. I went with Draxx, Orish, Bailey and Trident to leave the hanger, while Jasmine, Aaron and Baxter went to assist Sharmia's group.

Jasmine's PoV
I ran off the shuttle with one thing on my mind; kicking Reaver's ass. Jess and the others went to fend off the pirates while I was with Baxter and Aaron, the two brooding silent hot guys. I know Aaron was a kyzor, but there was something about him that made me want to know him better, even against what Baxter told us before we went to Urnize. Aaron is fit but nothing compared to Jacob, I guess I could use him as a distraction, and I mean that in the least slutty way possible.
