"I think going to my parents is a good thing." Genesis told dylan as they sat in the waiting room. "I haven't seen them since christmas."

"Do they know your pregnant?" Dylan asked. Genesis shook her head.

"I mean... you can't hide it." Dylan laughed slightly, pointing to Genesis's belly.

Genesis looked down to her belly and smiled, rubbing it. "They'll understand."

"Understand what?" Dylan raised a brow. "That your stomach is big?"

"No." Genesis shook her head with a chuckle. "I  mean, about the whole situation."

"Do they like Nate?" Dylan asked. She shrugged. "I don't exactly know, really. They never really got to know him. On holidays, we go our separate ways. But, once we get back, we do our own little friends night."

"His family doesn't like me though."

"Really?"

"Yeah. there was this girl, dalia, that they thought would be a perfect fit for him. But, he didn't want to be with her no matter how much they pressured it. So, they don't like me because he's chose me." Genesis said. "now they'll hate me even more."

Before dylan could say anything, the doctor walked over to genesis. "Hello Genesis. Anything we should be worried about? problems?"

"No problems. Just a question." Genesis smiled. "Would it be safe for me to travel on a plane?"

"Where to?" doctor lópez asked.

"Texas."

"You're in your second trimester which is the safest time to fly - Not that far, it's fine by me. If the plane has any delay or anything, just walk walk up and down the aisle every two hours."

"Thank you." Genesis and Dylan said.

"No problem, have a good one. I'll see you in a few weeks." Doctor lopez left the two.

As genesis was scrolling through plane tickets, Dylan laid on the couch.

"I don't think I want to go anymore." Genesis told dylan with a worried expression.

"Why?" Dylan asked, sitting up.

"I don't know - what if i need to get to you? What if something happens?"

"Then i'll fly to you as quick as I can." Dylan nodded.

"But i want lópez as our doctor. Not someone I don't know from another state." Genesis shook her head. "No i can't go."

"Okay, then have your parents fly here." Dylan shrugged. "Problem solved."

"No. There's too many-"

"This is the safest time to fly. Go." Dylan stood up and walked to Gen. He grabbed Genesis's shoulders with both hands and gave her a reassuring smile.

Genesis nodded. "I'll be fine. I'll be fine."

Dylan went back to couch and got comfortable. Genesis watched to make sure he wasn't looking and instead of purchasing one ticket, she purchased two - "accidentally".

"Dang it!" Genesis fake groaned.

"What?" Dylan asked, standing up quickly.

"I bought two instead of one!" Genesis was terrible at trying to sound upset, but dylan didn't seem to realize it.

He furrowed his eyebrows and walked over next to her and took a look at the laptop.

"You can't call and refund it?" He asked.

Genesis shrugged.

"I'm sure you can." Dylan nodded. He took out his phone, "I'll call for you."

"Unless you want to come with me." Genesis 'suggested'. "You don't have to pay me back."

"I- I don't know Gen. I'd be meeting your parents... they don't even know your pregnant." dylan hesitated. "Maybe you should just go."

"Please come with me. I don't want to go alone." Genesis frowned.

"Oh, what about Adrian? I'm sure she'd love to go on a little vacation with you." Dylan forced a smile.

"This isn't a vacation." Genesis sighed, closing the laptop. She stood up, "I'll think of something. You can let yourself out."

She walked into her room and shut the door softly. Dylan groaned, knowing she was just guilt tripping him. He walked to her door and knocked. Genesis opened it with a blank face, "Oh, I thought you left."

"Who else would knock on your room door?" Dylan asked. Genesis shrugged.

"I'll try to go with you to darn texas." Dylan half smiled. 

"Really?" Genesis smiled wide which she quickly reversed into her blank expression. "I mean, cool. Flight is on Monday at 9 in the morning. I'll pick you up."

" I said I'l try. I still have to ask for the days off. How long are you planning to stay out there for?" Dylan asked. 

"I don't know, 3 weeks. Maybe 4?" Genesis shrugged.

"A month?" Dylan widened his eyes. "I can't afford to miss that many days, gen. Let's try two weeks - that's all my vacation days." 

Genesis felt bad, but she nodded. "Okay."

"I'll let myself out. I'll text you when I get the Okay."
