"Do we need eggs?" Genesis picked up the carton of eggs. "No, I don't like eggs."

She placed it back down then began pushing the cart.

"wait, yes i do." she went back and got the eggs then placed them in her cart.

she began to hum a tune, looking around at what she may crave or what they needed at the house.

"gen?"

genesis turned around and wanted to scream.

dylan was standing there.

"Are you some sort of stalker?!" she asked.

"no, i live around here." dylan shrugged.

"sure you do." genesis crossed her arms.

"listen, really... i was here picking up some milk and when i saw you, i just wanted to say hey."

gen looked down at the carton of milk in his hands then sighed.

"can we talk, genesis?" dylan asked. "please."

genesis looked down to the floor then back to him.

"you have five minutes." she said. "but not here."

she left her cart where it was and began to walk away.

dylan placed his milk into the cart and followed her.

she led him outside and they kept walking until they got to gen's car.

"get in." she said before she got in herself.

dylan got into the passenger seat and closed the door.

"talk." genesis said.

"I know you don't want me involved in this... no matter how much i disagree," Dylan started. "I guess i have to respect it?"

"But, let me ask you something: When the kid looks nothing like your husband, what're you gonna say, hm?"

"i'll think of that when the time comes." Genesis shrugs. "Don't worry about it."

"I just don't think i could handle knowing that my kid is growing up with someone else." Dylan looks down. "I know you don't want to mess up your marriage, but that was messed up the moment we kissed."

"He's happy. I'm happy." Genesis said. "Please, let us be happy."

"You don't think i want to be happy?" dylan furrowed his eyebrows.

Genesis just blankly stared at him.

She was being selfish, but she's saving her marriage - atleast she thought she was.

"Just think about that." Dylan said. "Goodbye Genesis."
