"Before we head to the airport, can we make one little stop?" Dylan asked as he got into the car of Genesis'.

"Sure." Genesis nodded. "We're on a good time."

"Do you mind if I drive?" Dylan pointed to the drivers seat.

"Not at all." Genesis said. They switched spots and once they were both buckled up, Dylan started the car and left down the road.

•••

On the way to Dylan's destination, Genesis fell asleep.

Dylan parked the car and unbuckled his seatbelt. He opened the driver's side door and got out. Once he shut the door, Genesis opened her eyes with a small jump and looked up.

She looked around until she found Dylan walking.

Génesis then realized that they were at a cemetery.

She watched as Dylan knelt down in front of one of the plaques, and pulled out a small, yellow rose from his pocket.

He kissed the rose and placed it down.

Genesis watched as his mouth started to move and she could only make out a few words.

Some being, "Love her." and "Not perfect." and "Proud of me." and "Mom."

Dylan kissed his fingertips then placed them onto the plaque.

He got up and started to make his way back to the car.

Genesis widened her eyes and put her head down quickly and closed her eyes.

-•Dylan's POV•-

I knelt down at the familiar spot in front of my mom's plaque.

I pulled out a small, yellow rose from my pocket. I had to cut the stem to make it fit. I kissed the rose and laid it down in front of me.

"Hey mom, it's me. Dylan." I sighed. "I'm back."

"Sorry I haven't visited in awhile. A lot has happened. Like how I'm going to be a dad - to twins."

"Crazy, I know. The girl - she's amazing - stubborn and kinda annoying, oh and bipolar - but amazing."

"At first I really had to fight for them - the babies I mean - and It was kinda tricky, I didn't think I could win. But I did. And now Genesis and I going to Texas to see her family. That's the girl's name - Genesis. You'd love her mom... she reminds me of you and you'd see it too."

"It's not a perfect family - not perfect at all - but it's a family and we'll love the twins unconditionally. I hope your proud of me mom. I love you."

I kissed my fingertips then gently placed them on the plaque.

I got up and headed back to the car. I saw Gen's head quickly go down with her eyes closed, I laughed softly to myself with a head shake.
