Under Control

...STEFAN'S POV...

I was doing exercises in my bedroom. Damon entered with a glass of blood in his hands.

"Could you turn it up a little bit? It's not annoying yet."Damon said sarcastically.

"Sorry."I said and Damon switched off the music.

"When are you going back to school?"Damon asked.

"Soon."I said and started doing push-ups on the floor.

"Oh come on. Just drink already. Come on, this self-detox is not natural."Damon said. He put the glass of blood next to me while leaning down.

"Can you get that away from me please?"I asked.

"How long did it take you to wean yourself of it the last time you indulged?"Damon asked. I continued doing push-ups not answering the question on purpose, Damon got the just.

"That's not good."Damon said.

"I'll be fine; it just takes a little bit of time."I said.

"I don't get it; you know, you don't have to kill to survive. That's what blood banks are for. I haven't hunted in a human in... God way too long."Damon said.

"Oh, I'm impressed, this is to Impress our sister right, to make her think your good."I implied.

"It's completely self-serving. And let's keep Katherine on the do not discuss pile in our relationship cause we both know conversations about her never end well, I'm trying to get the town off the trail of vampires which is not very easy considering that there is an entire tomb of them running around."Damon said switching the subject from Katherine.

"What are we planning on doing about that?"I asked.

"We are not going to do much of anything if you don't have your strength. There's nothing wrong with partaking in a healthy diet of human blood from a blood bank. You're not actually killing anyone."Damon said.

"I have my reasons."I said.

"Well, what are those holier than thou reasons? You know, we never actually discussed this. You know, I'd- I'd love to hear this story."Damon said and sat down on the couch.

"You're really enjoying this, aren't you? Watching me struggle?"I implied.

"Very much so."Damon said.

"I hate to break it to you Damon but... I actually have it under complete control."I said.

"You do? Well, then you should just carry on, making the rest of us vampires look bad."Damon said and got up.

"Have a great day, Stefan."Damon said and he left the glass of blood on the table. I stared at the glass and Damon returned.

"Oh, hey, almost forgot something. Oops."Damon said and took the glass and took a sip from it.

"Mh mh."Damon said relishing in the taste of blood.

...ELENA'S POV...

"Come on Jeremy, going to school! Walking out the door now!"I exclaimed trying to get his attention.

"Forgot this."Jenna said and She gave me my thermos.

"Thank you."I said and opened the door I saw my Uncle John he was about to knock.

"Elena!"John said with a smile.

"Uncle John! Hi."I said, he was my fathers brother.

"Jenna,"John said looking at Jenna.

"John, you made it."Jenna said.

"I said I'll be here before noon."John said and entered the house.

"Oh what you say and what you do are typically two very different things."Jenna said and Jeremy came down the stairs.

"Uncle John, what's up?"Jeremy asked.

"Hey!"John said and Jeremy slapped him on the shoulder lightly and left.

"I had some business in town; I thought that a visit was in order."John said.

"How long are you staying?"I asked.

"I don't know yet."John said.

"Ok, well, I'm gonna go to school, I'll see you later."I said and gave Jenna a look and closed the door and left.

...JENNA'S POV...

"So what's up with Jeremy?"John asked.

"He just lost a friend, so try to be sensitive."Jenna said.

"I'm always sensitive."John laughed.

"Right, so really how long are you staying?"I asked.

"Can you at least pretend that you're happy to see me?"John implied.

"Oh my god John! It's so good to see you. How have you been?"I joked and then I became serious again.

"No, I can't."I said.

"Do you really think that I was just gonna sign the papers and send them back?"John implied.

"Actually I did."I said.

"I'm not going to let you sell my brother's office."John said.

"It's not up to you or me; it belongs to Jeremy and Elena."I said.

"Yeah but they're minors, so I get the final say, being that I'm the estate's trustee."John said.
