...KATHERINE'S POV...

I got to school early and found Matt.

"Oh my god Matt."I said and hugged him.

"Hey Katherine."Matt said and I stopped hugging him.

"Are you okay?"I asked.

"Yeah, it's been tough but I'm dealing."Matt said.

"That's good I'm so sorry I wasn't able to say that earlier."I said.

"No, no it's okay but that's for coming to the funeral it was good seeing you there."Matt said.

"No problem."I said and saw Elena coming.

"Hey sorry I'm late, a relatives in town."Elena said.

"Oh really who?"I asked.

"My uncle on my dad's side."Elena said.

"John?"Matt said. Elena nodded.

"He said his trip is open ended."Elena said.

"Uncle John, I never really liked that guy."Matt said.

"Does anyone?"Elena implied.

"I have yet to meet this guy so I won't judge."I said.

"Oh even if you haven't I'll give you permission to judge."Elena joked.

"I'm here for moral support if you need me."Matt said.

"Thanks, I think I'll suffer this one alone; you've been through enough."Elena said.

"Thank you by the way, for just... for everything you did at Vicki's funeral and the memorial. I couldn't have done it without you."Matt said.

"Of course Matt."Elena said and they had a long pause and then they looked at eachother.

"So, was Caroline still baking for you guys, around the clock?"Elena asked"She finally went to her dad, which is a good thing because my mom was going to strangle her if she dropped off one more lasagna."Matt said and he closed his locker and we left.

...DAMON'S POV...

"Hey can we talk about Katherine."Stefan said suddenly walking into the room.

"Why do we need to talk to about our sister I'm pretty sure we don't."I said.

"Look she seems to be spending a lot of more time with you, and of course you know that I'm against that but she's made it clear in the past that I can't control her but I'm her brother and I want what's best for her and she cares for you so all I'm asking is that you don't disappoint her or use her, oh and as for leaving town it's clear that your not but if you do she stays."Stefan said.

"And that's exactly why I didn't want to talk about her, cause I think I've made it clear that if I do leave town she comes with me okay and that's finale so I wouldn't test me, and as for letting her down I won't so you don't have to worry."I smiled.

"I hope so."Stefan said.

"You won't give up will you, to prove that your the better brother."I said.

"She's our sister Damon for once I want you to be careful."Stefan said and left the room.

...JEREMY'S POV...

I was outside,sitting on a couch, listening to music when Tyler arrived and sat down next to me. He offered me a joint.

"Nah."I said.

"What's your problem?"Tyler asked.

"I just don't want any."I said.

"All right. They say she OD'ed."Tyler said switching the conversation to Vicki

"That's what I don't get, she was doing okay."I said.

"Apparently not."Tyler said.

"How did she end up buried in the woods? That's what I don't understand."I said.

"By whoever was with her when she OD'ed."Tyler suggested.

"Yeah but you leave her, you don't take the time to bury her."I said.

"Maybe she saw something and... Hell man, I don't know."Tyler said.
