...ELENA'S POV...

Someone knocked on the door and I opened it and saw Damon and Katherine.

"Oh good you're here."I said

"You ask I come. I'm easy like that."Damon said Katherine rolled her eyes I pointed upstairs. Damon saw Jeremy eating in the kitchen.

"No Elena, I will not go to your bedroom with you."Damon joked and I caught his arm. Damon laughed and he and Katherine followed me upstairs. Jeremy looked at us. Katherine,Damon and I entered my bedroom.

"Ah, just like I remember."Damon said.

"Stop messing around."I said and plopped down on my bed and held my teddy bear.

"Did you know that your uncle has been kicking it with the Founder's Council?"Damon said.

"What?"I said surprised.

"Yep."Damon said.

"Perfect, we'll just add it to the growing list of how everything is falling apart."I said.

"Exactly I'm already judging the guy and I haven't even meet him."Katherine said and she noticed the broken lamp and picked up a piece of glass.

"What happened right there?"Damon asked pointing to the lamp.

"Uh... nothing."I said but I looked uncomfortable, Damon looked at me.

"Look Damon, I'm worried about Stefan. He says that everything's okay but he's clearly struggling. How long is it gonna take before he goes back to normal?"I asked.

"A few days. Give or take."Damon said.

"It's been a few days."I said.

"She has a point."Katherine said.

"Give then, I don't know. What's the big deal?"Damon asked and he got up and gave me the teddy bear.

"He's not himself, Damon."I said. Damon went towards the piece of furniture he opened the drawer and looked into it.

"Well, maybe his problem is that he has spent too long not being himself."Damon said.

"Look Damon me and you both know that Stefan is much better when he's in control."Katherine said, Damon took a bra from the drawer. I took it from him and put it back in the drawer.

"Please don't make me sorry for asking you."I said. Damon took a picture from the mirror; I tried to take it back.

"It is what it is Elena. The Stefan you know was "good behavior Stefan", 'reign it in Stefan", "fight against his nature into an annoying excessive level Stefan" but if you think there isn't another part to this then you have not been paying attention."Damon said. I took back the picture.

"He's not you, not even close."I said.

"Well,he doesn't want to be me. That doesn't mean that deep down that he's not."Damon said he got closer to me,looked at me and left Katherine followed.

...STEFAN'S POV...

I was back at the boarding house Damon and Katherine weren't home. I was looking for a book and I was stressed I then drank a glass of scotch.
