"Oh god! I shouldn't be here."I said.
"Come on, don't be a downer, it's a party for the founding families! That would be us. That would be rude to skip it."Damon said.
"Not funny Damon."Katherine said and gave him a faint smile.
"I really liked you a whole lot better when you hated everybody."I said.
"Oh I still do. I just love that they love me."Damon joked and he laughed and looked at me.
"How are you feeling?"Damon asked.
"I'm good, I'm fine."I said.
"No cravings? No urges? Is that whiskey you've been drinking all day doing its job?"Damon said. And I laughed.
"Damon don't provoke him it's not going to help the situation.
"Who's aid we were helping?"Damon asked and smiled a little bit.
"We are who we are Stefan. Nothing's gonna change that."Damon said.
"Ah! Nothing will make you happier to just see me given up hein Damon?"I said.
"Whatever, it's inevitable."Damon said.
"Well, I'm gonna find Elena."I said and left.
"Don't embarrass me young man!"Damon yelled after me. I grabbed a glass of whiskey and drank it.
...KATHERINE'S POV...
"He's not okay Damon and your not helping."I said.
"Believe it or not Katherine I actually am, the sooner he gives in to the human blood the sooner we can find a way to pull him back out."Damon said.
"And what makes you sure we can pull him out you remember what happened last time."I said.
"We'll find a way."Damon said and we started holding hands.
...MATT'S POV...
"I'm so glad you could join us tonight."Mayor Lockwood said.
"It was nice of you to reach out to us."My mother said.
"This town is one big family, when we lose a member we all have to come together."Mayor Lockwood and he took our hands.(He takes "Matt."Mayor Lockwood said.
"Mayor."Said and Mayor Lockwood looked at Tyler and then left the room.
"Well I guess dead kid rates a special greeting from the mayor, huh?"My mother said.
"God, mom!"I said.
'I need a drink."My mother said and left the room and Tyler arrived with a bottle of alcohol.
"Check it out!"Tyler exclaimed silently.
"Your dad is going to beat you down if he catches you."I said.
'Yeah. Let him try."Tyler said.
"Screw it."I said and I took the bottle and drank.
