...JEREMY'S POV...

I heard a knock on the door and then Elena entered.

"Hey."Elena said.

"What's up?"I asked.

"Do you have some time to talk?"Elena asked.

"Uh, yeah, sure."I said.

"Not here. Come on; let's get out of the house."Elena said.

...ELENA'S POV...

Me and Jeremy were now at a lake walking I was talking to him and telling him that I was adopted.

"I just can't believe mom and dad never told you that you were adopted."Jeremy said.

"I'm sure they would have eventually."I said.

"Why were you worried about what I thought?"Jeremy asked.

"Because... I don't know. It's weird. Going you're whole life thinking you're related by blood to someone."I said.

"Does it bug you that we're not?"Jeremy asked.

"No, Jer... you're my brother, that's all that matters."I said and he smiled.

"So, Mr. Saltzman said you've been doing great in history now."I said.

"Yeah, yeah he's really been helping me out. He gave me some extra credit and stuff."Jeremy said.

"He loved your vampire paper."I said trying to bring the subject up subtly.

"He thought I had a clever angle."Jeremy said.

"What drew you to that subject matter?"I asked.

"I don't know, boredom or maybe I'm just as nuts as the long line of Gilbert crazies."Jeremy joked.

"Gilberts aren't crazy."I said.

"Easy for you to say, you're not one."Jeremy joked I stopped.

"Ouch."I said and I hit him with my shoulder and ran after him.

...DAMON'S POV...

I was sitting on the couch when Katherine came walking down wearing a beautiful black dress her hair was straightened which meant it was going to be hard to tell her apart from Elena.

"Hey you look beautiful."I said.

"Thanks."Katherine said and twirled a little and then walked over and kissed me on the lips.

"Hmm well that's a first."I said.

"A first for what?"Katherine asked.

"It's the first time you've kissed me without worrying about Stefan."Damon said.

"Haha very funny."Katherine said and walked over and I laid down with me on the couch we were cuddling like we were before.

"Hey ready to goo.....um sorry I didn't realise."Stefan said but stopped.

"Hey Stefan."Katherine said immediately got up.

"We should um, we should go the kick off party is about to start."Stefan said.

"Yeah um your right, we should go come on admin your driving."Katherine said and smiled and walked out the door we followed.
