Miley's POV    

I was just dropping Jessica and the twins off at my parents, I decided the kids needed to see their grandparents. I also wanted some time alone with Liam.

"Thanks for watching them." I say to my parents, then hand my dad Leonardo and mom Cecilia. "We definitely needed a break."

"That's understandable. Twins must be hard to take care of." My mom says.

"Definitely. Especially when you also have a three year old running around getting into things. I sooo can't wait until the twins can walk. Can you sense my sarcasm there?" Then my parents laugh.

"Well we're happy to watch them for a while, Miley. How long?" My dad asks.

"Just maybe a couple hours, if that's okay."

"It's perfectly fine."

"Thanks dad." I say, then hug my parents. "Well, I'd better get going. Liam is probably waiting for me."

"Okay. Have a good time." My mom says, then I hug them again.

"Bye Jessy. Be good for grandma and grandpa, okay?" I tell Jessica.

"Okay mommy." Jessica replies.

"Bye." I say once more before leaving.

While I pulled into Liam's driveway, I saw a car I didn't recognize. I looked at it with a confused face, then parked my car. I got out and locked the car, then walked up to Liam's door. I knocked on the door, but no one answered. I knew he was home, because his car was here also. I tried the door, and it was unlocked. I opened the door, and was shocked of what I saw. I saw Liam standing in his living room, hugging some girl. I teared up, and shut the door quietly and left. I got back in my car and started driving away.

I couldn't process it. I didn't wanna believe what I saw. Liam was hugging a girl. Is he cheating on me again? I think to myself. He can't be. I decided to drive to the beach. I seem to do a lot of good thinking there. When I got there I walked in the sand, thoughts racing through my head. I heard my phone go off, and I looked at it. I had two texts from Liam.

Liam: Hey babe. You on your way?

Liam: Everything okay? You aren't here yet

I put my phone back in my pocket and just ignored it. If he cared so much, he wouldn't be hugging some girl I didn't even know.

I walked for a while until I heard someone calling my name-- Liam.

"Miley!" I hear him call. "Miley, hey. Wait up." Then I feel him touch my shoulder.

"What?" I ask, starting to tear up.

"What's wrong? You're tearing up."

"You should know. Maybe I'm not good enough. Because I just had twins? I'm still fat?"

"What are you talking about? And you're not fat." He replies.

"Why don't you just go to your new girlfriend?"

"What?"

"You know what I'm talking about. I saw you hugging that girl. I walked in and saw you hugging her." I explain.

"I- wait- what?"

"Don't play dumb with me. Just...just leave me alone." Then I start walking away.

"But Miley-" He starts to say.

While I was walking away, Liam was still following me. He turned me around, and tried to kiss me but I pulled away.

"You lost me, Liam. I'm sorry." I say, then wipe my tears.

"No, Miley. Please don't say that." Then Liam sighs. "I'm not even capable of looking at anyone after what happened between us. But you gotta hear me out. That was a friend. She came to visit. She's from Australia, she's an old childhood friend." Then he starts to tear up.

"Liam-"

"No Miley, I'm not done yet. Ever since we met, I've been crazy about you. I love you so much, I love you like crazy. I'll never, ever forgive myself for what I did to you and to the kids. You and the kids are the only thing that matter to me. I love you all so much..." He explains, trying not to cry.

"Liam...I'm so sorry...I'm just so scared I'll lose you again." I say, starting to cry. "I- I can't lose you again."

"You'll never lose me, Miley. I made the worse mistake ever, losing you. And I can't believe it happened."

"Neither can I. I'm so sorry I assumed you were cheating. It's just hard to trust people. I mean, I trust you. It's just hard to trust certain things."

"I understand, and I'm so sorry." He says sympathetically. "I hope you're not mad."

"Why would I be mad?"

"Just because I didn't tell you about her. I didn't know she was gonna show up. If I knew I would've let you know ahead of time."

"Liam, it's okay." Then I sigh. "We just have to communicate more."

"I agree." Then he kisses me passionately on the lips. "What would you say if we just hung out here? Just sat on the beach here."

"I'd say let's do it." I reply with a smile. "But wait, how'd you know I'd be here?"

"You do a lot of thinking at the beach. Once you didn't reply to my texts, I called your mom. She said you already dropped off the kids, so then I realized maybe you saw her car in my driveway or something and thought I was cheating. Then I figured you'd probably be here, since you like it here and you do a lot of your thinking here."

"You definitely know me."

"Because we've been together for so long. I mean I know we were apart for a while, but I didn't forget anything about you." He says with a smile, then kisses me again.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too, Miley." Then we walk to a spot and sit in the sand. I sat in front of him and lean back on his chest.

"You still love me even though I'm fat?" I ask him.

"What? C'mon, you're not fat. And I do love you. I'll always love you, no matter what."

"Good, because I feel the same way about loving you."

Then I turn around and we kiss. I'm definitely glad he isn't cheating. He'll always and forever be my Liam.
