Miley's POV

Today is Landin's birthday. Emma and August were coming over with Landin and Elaina. Since Emma and August were vegan too, and raising their kids that way, Liam and I just bought a vegan cake.

"Mommy where Landin?" Jessica asks me while I get ready.

"He's coming with Emma, August, and Elaina. Don't worry, it'll be soon." I answer.

"Are you ready?"

"Yup. Let's get you out of your pj's and dressed." Then I pick her up and take her to her room. While I was helping her get dressed, Liam walked in.

"Hey. August texted me, they'll be here soon." Liam says.

"Okay, thanks for the heads up. Wait, where are the twins?"

"They're in their highchairs. I was feeding them."

"I hope you didn't feed them too much. I'd like to give them cake when we have it." I say, and Liam shakes his head.

"No, I didn't."

"Okay, thank you." Then he nods. "There ya go, Jessy. You're all dressed and ready." I dressed Jessica in a light pink shirt and purple pants.

"Thanks mommy." Jessica says, and I smile.

"Okay, go play." I tell Jessica, and she runs off. I stand up and Liam embraces me into his arms.

"You're so amazing with kids." He says.

"Well I sure hope so, I'm a mother to three of them...and you're amazing with kids too."

"I hope so, I'm a father to three." Then I laugh, and he kisses me on the lips. "I love your laugh. I love you altogether."

"I love you too...we should probably go clean up the twins before everyone gets here." I say, and Liam nods.

We walked into the kitchen and cleaned up the twins while Jessica played in the living room. Liam and I played in the living room with the kids while we waited for everyone to come. Soon later my doorbell rang, and I got up and walked to the door. When I opened it, I saw August, Emma, Landin, and Elaina.

"Hi!" Emma says excitedly, then hugs me.

"Hi. Wow, Elaina is getting so big." I say, looking at Elaina in Emma's arms. "And so is Landin." Then I wave at Landin, he was in August's arms.

"Okay Landin, go play." August says while he puts Landin down, and Landin runs into the living room where Jessica was.

"Hey." Liam says to August as they walk in.

"Hey." August greets back.

Emma held Elaina while she and August sat on the couch next to Liam and me.

"I can't believe Elaina is almost five months already." Emma says, and I nod with a smile.

"And Cece and Leo are almost seven months...how is Elaina doing with sitting up?" I ask Emma.

"Oh she's great. She needs help sitting up most of the time, but she can stay sitting up for quite a while."

"That's awesome."

"How are the twins doing with crawling?" Emma asks.

"The twins are learning. They like to bounce in their bouncers too."

"They sure are cute." August says, and Liam and I nod.

"Say, when are you two going to finally move in together? You've been together for a while now." Emma asks, then I sigh.

"I suppose we have been together for a while. I gotta admit it'll be a lot easier when we are..." I agree. "What do you think?" I ask Liam.

"I agree, but I don't wanna rush you babe. I want you to feel ready, I don't want you to do it just because you feel like you have to." Liam replies, and I nod.

"I want to. I think it's time. It doesn't mean we're getting engaged or anything, just that we're moving in together. I gotta admit, I need help over here. And I can't just have you spending the night. And besides, everyone already knows we're together again."

"Good because I feel the same way. I just didn't wanna say anything because I felt like if I did I would've persuaded you."

"So is it settled?" August asks Liam and me.

"Yeah." I say with a smile.

"Oh good. I was hoping you would." Emma says excitedly, then stands up. "Let's go look at the cake."

"But it isn't time yet to-" I start to say, but Emma interrupts me.

"C'mon." Then she hands Elaina to August, and I raise an eyebrow before I go into the kitchen with Emma. "Now let's talk."

"What do you mean?"

"I didn't really pull you in here to look at the cake, which is cute by the way."

"No, really? I figured that. Now, what's up?"

"So?" Emma asks, but I get confused.

"So...? What do you mean?"

"How was it?"

"How was what?" I ask her.

"The first time since you got back together."

"The first time for what?"

"Are you freaking kidding me?" Emma asks, then she sighs. "How was the first time you had sex since you two got back together?" Then I sigh.

"Oh...that's what you meant. Yeah...we uh, we haven't done it yet." Then Emma raises her eyebrows and opens her mouth in shock.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean exactly that. We haven't had sex yet." Then Emma opens her mouth to speak, but I cut her off. "We haven't yet because I haven't felt ready. Liam is respecting that. He hasn't been bothering me about it. We've talked about it a couple times, but each time I've just told him I just wasn't ready yet and he respects it."

"Wow. He really respects it?" Emma replies, and I nod. "Damn. Keep him." Then we laugh.

"I plan to, don't worry...we should go see if everyone's ready for cake." Then we walk into the living room again. "Is everyone ready for cake?"

"Yeah!" Jessica and Landin exclaim together with smiles.

"C'mon then." Liam says, standing up.

He picks up Cecilia and Leonardo before walking into the kitchen. August walks into the kitchen with Elaina in his arms. Liam put the twins in their highchairs, and I put the candles on the cake. We sang happy birthday to Landin before he blew out his candles. August sat in a chair with Elaina on his lap and fed her a couple bites of cake. I only gave the twins a couple bites too.

"You don't give them much cake either?" Emma asks.

"No, I don't think it's a good idea for an almost seven months old to have much cake. It's far too sugary. Only a couple bites." I answer.

"Oh good, I thought we were just way too overprotective." Then I nod.

"Nope. I think we're being just fine with this." Then I look at the kids, enjoying the cake. "Landin are you enjoying your cake?" I ask Landin, and he nods with cake all over his face. "How about you, Jessy." Then she nods, she also has cake on her face.

After we had cake, we cleaned up Jessica and Landin. Then it was time for Emma, August, Elaina, and Landin to leave. We said goodbye before they all left, then Liam and I cleaned up. I remembered what Emma and I were talking about...I began to think I was maybe being too protective of myself. I was maybe too afraid to get hurt, so I was telling Liam I wasn't ready. Maybe I should talk to him about it. I'm sure he won't leave me again. I need to believe what he said when he told me he wasn't leaving again. We're moving in together for crying out loud. I'm just glad he isn't pressuring me into it. That makes me know for sure he's here to stay. I definitely love him, and I know he loves me.
