Miley's POV

Liam and I had just arrived back home, and when we walked through the door, we were greeted by Jessica almost immediately.

"Mommy and daddy are home!" Jessica exclaims. Then Liam picks her up and I kiss her after Liam does.

"Yup, we're home." I say with a smile. "How were the kids?" I ask Noah.

"They were great. Ethan and I helped the twins walk around a little, then we played with Jessy. Jessy was hungry so I gave her just a small snack." Noah answers.

"And the twins? Did they get hungry?"

"No, they didn't seem to look like it."

"Okay. Well, it's about noon. Mom and dad should be here anytime." I say, looking at my phone.

"Babe, my parents just texted. They won't be able to come today." Liam says.

"Aw, okay. So I guess we're just waiting for August, Emma, and their two, other than my parents." I reply.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. I opened it and it was my parents.

"Hi mom, hi dad." I say with a smile, then hug them. They walk in and greet everyone else.

The twins and Jessica were playing with Liam, and Noah and Ethan were sitting on the couch. My parents walked in and Noah got up to hug them.

"Miley, the twins have gotten so big!" My mom says with a smile.

"So has Jessy." My dad adds.

"Liam, how have you been?" My mom asks.

"Oh you know, busy keeping up with three kids. I wish I could say it's getting easier as they're gettig older, but now that the twins are crawling, almost walking..."

"They're into everything." I add, then my mom laughs. "Mom, you have no idea what twins are like."

"No, but you and Braison are only two years apart...so I had my share of two toddlers at once."

"True."

"Anyone else coming?" My dad asks.

"Emma and August with Landin and Elaina. Liam's parents couldn't make it today." I answer.

As we all sat and visited for a while, later Emma and August showed up. I let them in, and Landin immediately ran over to Jessica. Emma put Elaina down and she crawled over to the other kids.

"Miley!" Emma says excitedly. "The twins are one!"

"I know, isn't it crazy? It seems like it was just a few months ago I was bringing them home...now they're turning one." I reply.

"Babe, I'm gonna go get the cakes. Ethan, wanna come along?" Liam says.

"Sure." Ethan answers. "Bye babe." He says to Noah.

"Elaina has gotten so big, Emma." I say with a smile, and she nods.

"Mommy I want cake."

"Landin, you gotta wait til Liam and Ethan get back with them. They're not here yet." Emma replies to Landin. "How many cakes did you get?" She asks me.

"Just one cupcake for Cece and one for Leo. Then a bigger cake for us that don't smash what we eat." I answer.

"Sounds great."

When Liam and Ethan got back, we all went into the kitchen. I put Cecilia and Leonardo in their highchairs, and gave them their cupcakes. They ate them with their hands, making a big mess. We all had to laugh at how messy the twins were getting. Then we cut the cake and ate. Jessica and Landin also got messy, just not as messy as the twins.
