Miley's POV         

I woke up and looked at the clock. It was almost 8AM...how'd I sleep in? Then it dawned on me-- it's the weekend. I get up and put some clothes on, then open Liam's and my bedroom door. I start to walk into the kitchen for breakfast, but guess who- Liam- jumps in front of me and scares the shit out of me.

"Liam! Dammit!" I say, then smack his arm. He laughs, and Jessica, Cecilia, and Leonardo join in to laugh. "In front of the kids...nice."

"Babe...don't you realize what day it is?" He asks me, then I shake my head. "Okay kids, like we practiced."

"April fool's mommy!" They all shout. I sigh, and shake my head. Then they all run over and hug me.

"Liam why." I whine. "Can't I just have a normal Saturday for once?"

"Babe, when does that ever happen? We haven't had a normal Saturday in a long time."

"I don't care. That doesn't mean we can't have a normal Saturday today." I argue.

"Nope mommy. No normal Saturday today!" Jessica exclaims, then I sigh once again.

"I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a lot of that today..."

"What?" Liam asks. Then I sigh.

"That...sighing. Because you can't seem to give me one normal day."

"Like I said babe, that hasn't happened in a long time, and probably won't."

"Kids, go play outside. Stay off the swing set!" I yell as they run out the door to the backyard. "Liam, we need to talk." Then I walk him to the couch and sit down with him.

"Uh oh...I never like that beginning of a sentence."

"No, Liam, seriously."

"Okay, what's up?"

"We're engaged."

"Um...yeah. I'm pretty sure I proposed to you. And not to brag, but it was pretty romantic." Liam says.

"That's the point. We're still engaged. Don't you ever wanna get married?"

"You wanted to take things slow."

"Oh my god Liam, for fucks sake. We've been engaged for nearly three years. I'm pretty sure that's long enough. Besides, I'm sick of everyone asking. By everyone I mean stupid paparazzi. That's not why I want to, but it'd go away if we did." I say, then Liam nods in agreement.

"You're right. I never realized it's been that long. Nearly three years since I proposed...I do suppose it's time."

"I mean I dont wanna pressure you or anything, so don't feel like I'm forcing you-"

"Miley, you aren't forcing me. I never realized because we've been so busy with the kids. Did you have anything planned in your mind, or did you just think of this?"

"Actually, I've thought about a lot of stuff." Liam laughs, and I playfully shove him. "What?"

"I figured you have. What's on your mind?"

"Well...to start, I don't want a big wedding this time. Just a small one."

"We can do that." He says. "We don't have to invite so many people."

"No, Liam. When I say small...I mean small. Like, family only- kind of small. I know it seems crazy, but then we don't have to do so much. We don't have to hire anyone except an officiant. We don't have to go all out on decorations, we don't have to get a gigantic cake, it'll be quieter and calmer."
