THE most helpful website I have ever found for description and characterization. It lists:
-all the different emotions and a ton of physical actions that convey it
-extremely detailed definitions and descriptions of all the different character traits with pros, cons, and cliches to avoid
-descriptions of different weather and earthly phenomenon
-smells, sights, tastes, and touches for a lot of different settings
-colors, shapes, and textures
-objects to symbolize certain themes
I feel like I'm in writer's heaven when I go there. It's almost better than the chocolate store at the mall.
